"I received 3 bids for my roof. JWF's was by far the lowest. When the other roofers heard they didn't get the bid, they asked me why, and I said, "your price was too high." They said I was being "low-balled," and that, before the job was finished, they said I would see "add-ons" for the things included in their bids, like flashing and trim. That never happened. JWF kept its word on price. It also went above and beyond. Its bid came in on April 3rd. Between the time I got the bid and accepted it (about one month later), JWF told us our # 1 choice for the shingle wasn't widely available and suggested we switch to a new style. I told the owner that my wife really liked "our # 1 choice," so JWF got those materials another way and installed the shingle we wanted. When they arrived, JWF confirmed those were the shingles we wanted (they were). It also finished on time. JWF promised a two- to three-day job to complete. It finished in 3 days (our house has a large, steep roof, which makes replacing it tricky). JWF's workers arrived each day around 6:30 a.m. and worked until dusk. JWF's owner checked-in on them regularly, though that was necessary as it turned out, because JWF's crew is first-rate. Finally, it went above and beyond. A lot of companies use that term to the point it's almost meaningless, but JWF really did go above and beyond, replacing all the flashing as necessary, installing new vents as needed (six of the eight), and putting everything back where it belonged, even attaching a gutter downspout that we hadn't realized had become detached before JWF got started. If it weren't for the awesome look the new roof gives the home, you wouldn't even know we had a major work done to our home. In short, JWF finished on-time, on-budget and installed a high-quality roof, and the house looks better today than it did before JWF did the job. My wife and I couldn't be happier. While we don't want to install a new roof any time soon, if we ever need to, we'll be calling JWF. There really should be a "6-Star" rating for companies like JWF. Paul S"
