"I can't stress those reading this enough to never use Corwin for any type of work. My experience from them the past few weeks has been nothing short of the worst customer service of any sort I have ever experience. They were subcontracted by my contractor to do the framing and drywall for a basement job. The first 3 weeks and basically 90% of the work had been ok. The last 4 weeks have been nothing short of miserable. There was one area or ceiling left to finish which I paid the day they were allegedly done. That was a terrible move on my part because they were not done at all and left the ceiling an unfinished mess. This isn't even getting into the $6000 in overages they charged me for work that was agreed upon before the job even started. Yes, there was some additional work that was requested as the job progressed. But when I saw the newly updated quote with an additional $6k, I was shocked. But after some discussion and a few hundred dollars knocked off, I still paid them their balance only to be sitting here weeks later with an unfinished portion of ceiling and a newly noticed not plum window opening that Corwin tried to say they were not at fault then tried to blame their laborers. Now fast forward to late last week when I spoke to the owner who agreed to pay me back a sum of money that we agreed upon due to the issues at hand. I then get an email telling me their lawyer will reach out to me. What an absolute joke of a company and I will gladly take this to court. DO NOT USE CORWIN. "I have house that is rental unit on the 2nd floor that was built in 1896. It needed some plastering done to the kitchen ceiling and the living room ceiling in a few areas. It was plastered before, but needed retouching since it was missing something. I searched for a company who does exceptional work with the proof and years of experience. We prefer wet plaster over dry, so did checking and found ZMartin Plastering on Angi. The company had high ratings and the work looked great, so we scheduled Brian Zmuda to come out and look at what needs to be done. Brian came out me out promptly for an estimate and went over what the issues were with the ceiling in both areas and explained it thoroughly so I could understand and told me what materials as far as the paint, plaster, and more and how he was going to do it, and even showed me this insurance and then quoted me a fair price. I was happy and then scheduled him to come out in three weeks. Brian came out three weeks later on 05/23/23 after we were finishing stucco painting and he began to work. I could tell he knew about doing plaster work for an older house. He started with the two ceilings and did it in order and was clean using the right materials. He plastered it well leaving no mess and with wet plaster, and then once he finished he explained that the plaster dry's in less then a week and told me house spot primer first in the area before applying paint which where are doing for the whole apartment's unit. I was happy and knew he was skilled and explained what materials you are suppose to use and he also does stucco is great to know snice we have some stucco repair on our main house to do. I can highly recommend ZMarting for any paltering work and he seems very honest and did not take long so her reduce the price since it was simple job. We will be working with him in the future. His work is fantastic. Could not be any happier."

"First of all, we are happy with the finished product of our master bathroom and walk-in closet. We are NOT happy with the owner of this business and his handling of our project. Jeff took time to design our space over several meetings. He promised that he would be available to choose tile/granite/light fixtures/plumbing fixtures whenever we needed him. Timeline was discussed with a 6 week from contract start and a project time of 3 weeks. Permit submission was done by myself with plans drawn by Jeff. We failed the permit process with 14 items that were not addressed due to insufficient drawings. Additional time/effort was required by Jeff and us to meet the requirements to meet code, which pushed our project back several weeks. We also paid more for the project due to Jeff needing to insure his workers for our village (a cost he should have known upfront). With new drawings, we re-submitted and were approved for work to begin. I can't say enough about the FANTASTIC workers that Jeff has on his team. They were courteous and did excellent work and even suggested design modifications that made sense. One of our first tasks was to pick out a granite surface. Jeff gave us the name of a granite place and that he'd meet us there. He NEVER showed. We picked granite on our own that day. We ordered tile - on our own. We chose lighting, plumbing, fixtures, and paint colors - on our own. The next time and ONLY time we saw Jeff for the duration of the project was when he delivered the vanity and asked for money (same visit). The total project ended up taking over three months to complete. Due to various project modifications/additions, we had no idea what our final invoice would be. We waited and waited for some type of final figure. 8 months after the project was completed we finally received a remaining balance invoice for over $11,000. We were shocked to receive this invoice so far after the project was completed. Jeff explained that COVID and not having an office manager were reasons behind us not getting an invoice before then and that we fell between the cracks. While we don't argue the price, we did not appreciate the length of time it took him to get the job done, nor the amount of time before we received a final invoice. When we offered to pay $2,000 each month for the next six months we were sent a very threatening email offering us three options for payment in full NOW. Suddenly this money is due NOW when he has carried this receivable for 8 months already? We will NEVER recommend Artistic Kitchen Concepts (Jeff) to anyone in the future. His involvement in the project started out well, but dropped off to the point where we never saw him, had no further input from him, and didn't receive an invoice until 8 months after the project was completed."
