"John and his crew were great! They got back to us within an hour after we requested a quote through Angie's List. They came promptly to give an estimate and set a start date within a week. They arrived promptly each day and didn't leave until that day's portion of the project was complete. We have an older home which had an uneven floor. They went to great lengths to make sure they installed the new flooring perfectly level. They didn't mind that we had already purchased the tiles and grout ahead of time. John expertly cut the tiles to fit all the tight spaces. They made sure to do the complete floor including under all the appliances and the floor of our pantry. The final product looks fantastic!!! John and crew were always very professional and courteous. They were great about cleaning up and protecting the rest of our home during installation. "I just want to compliment Dave and his crew on a wonderful job. The craftsmanship is outstanding. <br /> I was pleased when I first got the very reasonable estimate and read great reviews from Angies List and Dorado Soapstone. <br /> This is a very, very old house and they needed to spend an extra day here, travelling from Rhode Island because the kitchen sink cabinet needed to be completely rebuilt to accommodate the heavy stone sink and the cabinets needed a little shoring up. <br /> Having had some very expensive extras with contractors before this, I was expecting a possible whammy...none came. I actually had to ask for the bill before they left. Dave explained every charge which came to less than $300.00, way, way less than I expected. <br /> I had a small issue with the sprayer leaking, Dave came right out and fixed it. He even went down cellar and turned off my <br /> outside spigot for me...good thing because it would have frozen in this weather. <br /> My counters are beautiful and I would hire these guys again in a minute! <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The people at New England Stone Technology were very pleasant and easy to deal with. My call was returned the same day, and I was able to send photos of the project in order to obtain an estimate over the phone and schedule an appointment. On the morning of the appointment, the technician, Lou, telephoned to advise me that he was a little behind schedule, but then he arrived when he said he would. I appreciated his communicating the slight delay. Lou was very nice and professional and was knowledgeable about the cause of the fissures in the granite and took the time to explain them to me. He was also upfront with me about the repair results he could achieve. The job was a little pricey, $450 for an hour and a half of work, but I am pleased with the results and feel confident that the work will protect the integrity of the granite countertops, extend its life, and enhance it's beauty. "We are delighted with the hardwood floor installed by Sullivan & Son – they truly treat your home as they would their own! My wife and I had been looking to replace the carpet that came with our new home and decided to start with the master bedroom. After finding Sullivan & Son Carpet on Angie's list, we paid their showroom a visit. Our first contact was with Ryan and, throughout the process, Ryan and others at the Sullivan & Son showroom were very patient and accommodating while we considered all the various flooring options – never pressuring us one way or another but always giving us wonderful explanations of the pros and cons and fully disclosing the costs so we could make the best decision for our budget. Over a period of several months, given the quality of product available and the trust we had gained in Sullivan and Son, we finally decided to go with what had been my wife’s real preference all along in the matter – a beautiful gray hardwood floor from the FX Appalachian line installed at a 45-degree angle! Ryan came to our home multiple times – the initial measurement, to deliver the wood and, finally, on the day of installation to ensure things were going according to plan. The installers worked conscientiously and swiftly doing a wonderful job and getting our floor installed in a single day. But that wasn’t all. Sullivan & Son went the extra mile. Brad Sullivan came by our home that evening to ensure we were happy with the installation, returning to spend the better part of the next day putting in finishing touches. We couldn’t have been happier. My wife is very fussy about these things and Ryan and Brad could not have been more responsive, thoughtful and patient – arranging for samples to be sent to us and even allowing us to take samples home from the showroom so we could see them in different lighting. From the start, Sullivan & Son was extremely professional and accommodating. We still have carpet in our loft that is immediately outside our bedroom – so the next item on the flooring agenda will be to replace that carpet – with one of the selections from Sullivan & Son!"

From the initial visit to give us a quote to his final finishing details, Mike Talmadge was thorough, responsive and easy to work with. We obtained three quotes and Mike's price was very competitive. However, his standard of quality was very high. We love the cabinets and his suggested storage ideas have really made our kitchen seem bigger.
