"They did a textured ceiling & painted our living room. We liked it so much we had them install drywall and build a 10 foot wall in our basement to create a spare bedroom. They started and completed the work ahead of schedule and they did a fantastic job. We plan to have them back in the future to do some more painting and drywall repair."

"I was very pleased with all aspects of this job. It was completed in a timely manner, the property was left neat and cleaned up after each day, the paint job was done several years ago, and it has held up perfectly. I would use them again."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Manton, MI

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
