"I saw his name on line My wife and I live out of town. I contacted Dillon ,we talked. I hired him without really knowing how his work was. Have him a key to the house we had purchased. He and his workers came in and sanded the floors. Cleaned up what mess they had made and put furniture back. It was 2 months latter when I came back down to Shallotte and saw the floors. They were beautiful. Everything he said they would do was done. Beautiful job and not even knowing him or his work except what reviews were on line. He did excellent work and really no mess for me to take care of when I was back down in early October. Very trustworthy. I really can't say to much about his work without taking up 2 pages of space. The crew removed and replaced the old siding, reinforced the loft area opening up the floor space below, replaced the doors (including a custom top/bottom split Dutch style side door), and painted the exterior. We were so impressed by the work that we obtained a quote to have our covered patio painted, which required the grinding of exposed mail tips. The work began on Wednesday and both jobs were completed by Saturday. Never have I been so impressed by the quality and efficiency of a job. I would and will hire them for future jobs."

"Chester was great to work with, very helpful keeping me on budget and on schedule. He used vendors I had used before so I knew quality of their products. I knew what I liked so that moved fairly quickly. Had to have functional bathroom for Christmas so he made sure that happened. They used drop clothes through the house during whole process.
We had a couple of hang ups . The size tile on the walls was as large as the floor tiles. The bathroom is narrow . In places tile was not as flat as I would have liked, because of the size when they are baked they have cupping. A smaller tile wouldn't have done that. Larger format looks great. The other was where electrician installed fixtures over the sinks too low for glass trim and mirrors chosen. Decided I didn't want lights any higher so mirror change was answer which Chester did on New Years day.
As a widow it was comfortable having Chester do all the scheduling ,discuss process, and answer my numerous questions. I do have a have questions about New Hanover 's shortage of inspectors!
