"We regionally met AB and Borja Unique Masonry a year ago when someone ran into our wall by the road and needed someone to replace the brick. They did a great job and at that point we started thinking about other things that needed to be done. AB came several times at the end of 2019 to discuss options. We were not able to follow through at that time but asked him for a bid this past April when we were ready. We are so glad he was able to do our projects. AB, the project manager and owner, made artistic recommendations and explained the process and why he did what he did. This is unusual as most contractors do not explain anything and I so appreciated the time he took, his customer service, honesty, and fair prices. The workmen were of the same caliber and took pride in their work, were courteous and cleaned up so well after the work that you would never know that they had been there except for the beautiful end result. Our project was as follows. We had a paver patio and stairs in which the pavers had sunken in and the cement borders had broken. We had retaining walls with cracks and a yard wall with a crack due to a neighboring tree s root. We had missing mortar in some of our block walled house and bricks on one of our decorative were crumbling. Because the color of our pavers no longer existed, in order to fix our patio we needed to take some of the pavers from our walkway which they replaced with beautiful flagstone. AB also had to find brick to match our faded brick on our decorative wall. And a crack had formed in our house wall. There was a variety of skills needed and they did a magnificent job. You d never be able to tell things had been patched and our patio area looks so much better than ever. We would highly recommend Borja Unique Masonry."

"After receiving quotes from two other reputable landscaping companies, we decided to go with Blue Ribbon for two reasons: they had the BEST quality "turf" (similar pricing) and they were the only bid that suggested recycling our beautiful red brick (instead of buying expensive artistic pavers or flagstone) and re-design the pattern to a gorgeous Herringbone 45 degree angle AND seal the red brick giving it a fabulous glossy look. I have to tell you, I was nervous after I signed the contract, wrote a check and read a few negative reviews on Google sites but our experience was FANTASTIC!  <br /> Phil quoted us 4-6 weeks since they are in busy season and they came on week 6 (we were in no rush, it is 105 degrees outside!). The job took them a mere 3 days and it came out waaaaay BETTER than I expected/ envisioned! Truly- blown away with the quality of work and craftsmanship from his team! Not to mention, they were all extremely professional and wonderful to work with. Very courteous and polite! <br /> Like any major project, I would highly recommend being home for the initial start and reviewing the contract and a diagram of your expectations with the crew supervisor... our brick was almost re-laid out in the same pattern! They were totally cool about it and made sure it was done exactly as planned. <br /> About a month after the project was completed, we had extreme rainfall in Tucson and noticed a divot in the turf. Phil's team came over the very next day, pulled the turf back, filled the hole and good as new. NOW THAT IS SERVICE! <br /> 5 stars because they were awesome all the way- from Phil in Sales to the Crew who made our yard the envy of the neighborhood. "I felt pressured/rushed into signing a contract. I had asked for an estimate, and when the gentleman showed up, he wrote out a contract instead of an estimate. The pricing for the removal of 3 concrete and rock steps, installation of 5 brick steps and 2 handrails was ridiculously high but I wasnâ t given a chance to shop around. The contract didnâ t break down material costs, labor costs or taxes. It was a quick installation of the steps but shoddy work. The bottom step fell apart within the 1st week, causing my 83 yr old stepdad to fall. This company subcontracted for my handrails. There was a complete lack of communication between this company and the rail company. It took over 6 weeks to complete this simple job. . The railings were installed after 4 weeks. While it literally took all day to install the rails, they did turn out quite nice. Also, I was promised replacement bricks in case of chips or breaks in the future and still havenâ t received those. All things considered, I donâ t think I would recommend this company."
