"John promptly returned my call and we set up an appointment for the next morning to have him take a look at my garage door opener which was not working correctly.  John was able to figure out immediately what was wrong and got the opener working in about 5 minutes.  Since it was such an easy fix he helped me reprogram my opener and also serviced the garage door.  He noticed that when the door was manually lifted it was quite heavy.  He asked me if I had the spring replaced recently and I said yes...about a couple of years ago.  He adjusted the spring and then oiled all the hinges.  Great job.  Highly recommend John for the great work.

Not only was the price unbeaten by any other contractor, but John was great about following up with us and answering any questions we had while we got our quotes together. Once we began the work with FHI, everything was done in a timely and practical manner and John kept us involved in deciding details along the way. He was accommodating to our schedules and very flexible when we made a few changes during the project. The entire project was complete in just a few weeks and it looks fantastic.

Aside from quality workmanship, the biggest standout for me was how good John was about communicating. I am an email junkie and John was very prompt in responding to questions and concerns along the way. It was nice to know that in addition to getting the basement we envisioned, we were also treated respectfully and received great customer service (a trait that I found lacking in most of the other contractors I dealt with when getting quotes). "Luis provided a quote within days of quote request & began work less than a week later. Luis & a co-worker spent four days (8 to 9 hours each day) on demolition of the old tile, redoing plumbing for new faucet fixtures, adding sub-flooring & backer board in shower area & retiling. Luis returned with a co-worker for 6 hours on a fifth day to grout the tile & for a couple of hours on a sixth day to perform touch-up. Luis supplied backer board, sub-flooring, grout & caulk for the job (included in price). He also provided baseboard for the vanity & divider between the new tile & carpeting in the hallway. He disposed of all old tile, shower area drywall & any other material from the demolition. All we had to do was buy the tile. The work is of high quality & the cost was more than reasonable."

"Zoran was prompt and knowledgeable. I needed him to get me the hardware for the doors (double front door) as I was unable to do it myself due to recent surgery. He went in search of hardware suitable for the door and brought back beautiful plates and knobs.!! I was very happy. Our house is old and the door frame uneven which he pointed out but he made it work to our satisfaction."

"Our house had a water damage that ruined much of the drywall and floor on the first floor and the basement. For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. I sincerely recommend David and AOM for any house remodeling and restoration job."

"Bob is an excellent contractor, He did lots of interior (bathrooms, kitchens, plumbing, electric, etc) and exterior work (porches, fences, decks, etc) at my two rental properties and mine own house as well. There is not a thing that Bob cannot fix. He responded to me always on time, job was always well done and the price was very reasonable. He has never disappointed me. As a landlord I have always knew that I can count on Bob anytime it does not matter how big was the job. Big five stars!!!"
