"After 22 years, the original hardwood floors were getting dull as the polyurethane had lost it's luster, as well as all the wear and tear from raising kids & animals in the house. We had finally decided to refinish the red oak floors, and had been debating for a while about having the hardwood extended into the useless formal living room we have, since it always had carpet. We wished we had went ahead and installed hardwood in that room when the house was built, to match the foyer and dining room. We checked a couple of places and just did not seem worth the cost to add it in there, until we called Ricky, as he was recommended by a co-worker of my bride. The project we wanted priced was just refinishing the existing hardwood, sanding down to change the stain & top coats, and also if we removed the carpet and had new red oak installed to match. We had no idea, they could weave in new hardwood with the existing, and make is seamlessly look so close to the original. The price was less than we expected, basing that on the higher quotes we received from other places on just refinishing the existing floors. Once we had everything in place, Chico & crew showed up the next week, to start work. We had one small area in the corner, that had shrunk from water damage, and caused gaps between the boards. Since it was in the corner, we really didn't want to replace it. However, one thing they do is use stainable wood filler in all the gaps between boards, and it worked out very well in the end. It took four days to get it all done and that included putting down new shoe molding. One tip if you ware going to paint the shoe molding yourself is have them bring it the first day & have it painted for them the last day to install. It will save you time, as you only have to go back and touch up the nail holes & caulk, and not have to paint along the floor since you can't put blue tape on the floor for a while. In the end, Ricky was great to work with, and Chico & crew did a fantastic job. It all turned out much better than we expected. I will try to upload some pictures of their work & I would highly recommend you give Ricky a call if you are wanting great results at a reasonable price."

They are engineered hardwood and were quite worn, coming up a number of places and gaps between the ends of many of the boards. They glued down the pieces that had popped, filled all the gaps and after refinishing, the floors look incredible. Eddie is very knowledgeable about the engineered floors and about refinishing. Great on communication each day so I knew what was happening, and where things stood in the project. Everything went smoothly and I'm very pleased with the results."

"The work I had was to replace the wooden floor for the kitchen,dining,living and sun rooms plus the pantry,powder room and the passage leading from the front door,due to a leaking pipe.For quality of the job done, I would give the company 10 out of 5 if that was possible. They were quick to make contact with us through Home Advisor and provided an estimate within a few days. I actually got four other estimates and they were the most competitive. The important thing to me was the measurements they provided. The square feet for the area to be repaired with engineered wood, was the least of all the estimates. Area measured by Kairos was approximately 850 sq ft. All the others were 1000-1100 square feet!!! I knew he was the closest to what was required. At the end of the project, only five lengths of wood was remaining. Amazing. That told me a lot about his honesty and right away I hired him. That’s another 10 out of 5!!!!
