"We had requested Carlos to give an estimate for refinishing the hardwood floors. As it turns out the floors were engineered floors and therefore couldn't refinish the floors. Instead, we hired Carlos as his team to install LVT floors. His team (and family) did an amazing job getting the floors installed in our main floor of the townhouse. They prepped the floors, removed the baseboard trims, laid the flooring all throughout the living, kitchen, and powder room in half a day. They also removed the toilet pot and installed a new ring before installing it back. In addition, they sanded down and stained the stairs as they were wood steps with a darker shade to match the LVT floors we installed. Overall, Carlos and his team were responsive, got the job done in a timely manner, were professional, and had experience in refinishing and installing the new floors. I would highly recommend him for this type of work."

"I was looking through several flooring companies and settled on Bel Floor based on user reviews from different sites. I have had mixed results from past flooring companies that I was a bit cautious at first. My initial call with Edward was very detailed explaining how he processes every project he has done. He also gave an estimate the following day based on the square footage and type of refinish work I needed. We scheduled for the day they would come out to start the job. A week before the start date, Edward informed me in advance that they may be a day late due to a large project they had to finish. They were doing work at the Governor’s Mansion! However, they were able to start on schedule since his brother, Robert, came to start the refinishing process at the scheduled date. We gave Robert six stain options that we wanted to see on the floor. My wife was not satisfied with the look so we asked for six more stain samples. They were both very patient with our decision as they understand that this is a big investment for their customers. Edward and Robert explained the process of choosing the right stain and gave advice along the way. We decided on stain mix of two parts Weathered Oak and one part Classic Gray on red oak floors. From start of their work to finish, Edward would let us know the situation and would get feedback from us if he and Robert encountered anything that would be questionable. We were part of the decision process throughout the four day job. The fact that they continued to give us updates and would contact us in cases where they wanted our input was very impressive. They wanted to make sure there were no surprises and most of the decision made was by us. It’s rare these days for companies to do this. The first time we walked in and saw the new floor finish, we were stunned at how beautiful int looked. Robert and Edward were also able to closely match the stair baluster posts and handrail with the floor stain. They gave us advice on what to use and how to care for our new floor. We are so happy we used Bel Floors that we will definitely use them again for our primary and investment properties."

"Concept Flooring knocked our socks off with our staircase project. We had all the carpet in our home replaced with LVP before we moved in but did not get the stairs done because of dry times. Fast forward 3 years and the carpet on the stairs was in rough shape. Concept Flooring pulled up the carpet, removed every tack strip, staple and nail flawlessly, sanded, stained, added wood flooring on our landings and clean risers in two days. They used a faster drying poly which was super helpful so we can still use both floors after 1-2 hours of dry time. They did an incredible job of color matching the existing flooring. The crew was incredibly neat. They cleaned up as they went and you wouldn't know there was any dust involved in the project after they left for the day. My husband cannot stop talking about how good it looks. I repeat, my husband cannot stop talking about the stairs. He doesn't notice anything but the stairs are his new favorite topic of conversation. Something to note: they do not paint trim or the risers so I will be handling that myself. This was made very clear throughout the process and with the high level of detail they took on the stairs, touching up the trim paint and painting the risers will be a much simpler process. The best kind of home projects are ones that look like they should have been there in the first place. And Concept Flooring nailed it! I wish we would have done this three years ago! "After 22 years, the original hardwood floors were getting dull as the polyurethane had lost it's luster, as well as all the wear and tear from raising kids & animals in the house. We had finally decided to refinish the red oak floors, and had been debating for a while about having the hardwood extended into the useless formal living room we have, since it always had carpet. We wished we had went ahead and installed hardwood in that room when the house was built, to match the foyer and dining room. We checked a couple of places and just did not seem worth the cost to add it in there, until we called Ricky, as he was recommended by a co-worker of my bride. The project we wanted priced was just refinishing the existing hardwood, sanding down to change the stain & top coats, and also if we removed the carpet and had new red oak installed to match. We had no idea, they could weave in new hardwood with the existing, and make is seamlessly look so close to the original. The price was less than we expected, basing that on the higher quotes we received from other places on just refinishing the existing floors. Once we had everything in place, Chico & crew showed up the next week, to start work. We had one small area in the corner, that had shrunk from water damage, and caused gaps between the boards. Since it was in the corner, we really didn't want to replace it. However, one thing they do is use stainable wood filler in all the gaps between boards, and it worked out very well in the end. It took four days to get it all done and that included putting down new shoe molding. One tip if you ware going to paint the shoe molding yourself is have them bring it the first day & have it painted for them the last day to install. It will save you time, as you only have to go back and touch up the nail holes & caulk, and not have to paint along the floor since you can't put blue tape on the floor for a while. In the end, Ricky was great to work with, and Chico & crew did a fantastic job. It all turned out much better than we expected. I will try to upload some pictures of their work & I would highly recommend you give Ricky a call if you are wanting great results at a reasonable price."
