Don gave an estimate based on a expectation of the desired finished product. When my wife commented that she wanted it shinier he agreed to do it for the same price even though he took him twice as long to get it to her satisfaction. "Clint looked at the work being done and gave me his recommendation, but what really impressed me was his professional, friendly and respectful manner. He is knowledgeable and was able to tell me exactly what should be done in certain situations with regard to water damage and mold inspection and remediation. He even mentioned that his company has a protocol for working in homes where the family is chemically sensitive. I have no doubt that he would do an excellent job with whatever service he offers. I ended up not needing him this time, but I wouldn't hesitate to hire him if I have a problem in the future. His office staff were also genuinely very nice, patient and kind in listening to me voice my concerns and in contacting Clint to call me back when I called. In this review I checked that I did have work performed by Steamatic because while they did not do any physical work here, I did receive a very valuable second opinion in the form of a consultation. <br />"

"The company had the flooring that I wanted in stock. They provided samples, pictures, and a lot of useful info to help me decide on the flooring and to help in talking to installers about how to best install and finish the flooring, though they did not refer me to any local installers. Once we decided on an installer and were ready to go, we had a fairly tight timeline, which we made clear. The purchase process was easy, but unfortunately our flooring was not picked up at the warehouse on schedule for two days running, and no one notified us -- I had to call the company and get my contact to look into what was happening with our order. They provided a couple of options, and fortunately my installer was able to pick up the flooring at a local terminal, instead of us loosing several days of acclimation time over a long holiday weekend when no deliveries would be made. A lot of calls and emails were exchanged, but they did stay on top of things this time and made sure we got our flooring. The flooring was beautiful, excellent quality and very dry so that the needed acclimation time was minimized. Our installer was very happy with the quality also and the floors look amazing. While the material was not inexpensive by any means, we feel that is was really worth the investment in our home, and would be surprised if anyone else would have supplied as high a quality product for a lower price. Moreover, though it did take some time on my part, basically acting as a GC, finding and hiring an installer, materials, and making sure the material got to us, based on an initial quote we got, we believe we saved at least 25% of the total project over contracting with a local installer to handle everything."

"I was less satisfied the second time than I was the first time I tried them two times so I had to say to give them the mark that I gave the first time they were okay, [inaudible] issue, it was an issue of his [inaudible] it was something with the water I remember that and a pipe broke and he had to go out and get one and came back and replace it wasn't the proper thing and he had to go again and it was a pain for the home owner and a pain in the neck for me, why do you hire these people is so that  you don't have to worry about it or think about it even. I am out there giving directions this ridiculous."
