"I worked with Robert and highly recommend him. Both Robert and Los Gatos Roofing represent a professional way to do business, they are responsive, patient to explain products and services, offer a lot of roofing suggestions and options for me to choose. The working crew is excellent and clean both my roof and ground everyday, I will hire them again if I need to."

"Excellent. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work that transformed our home. Our new facias and gutters are seamless and with all new flashings and hardware make the integrity of our home water tight. The craftsmen (roofers) really know their work and were a pleasure to work with. Thank You Pete and Jennifer Scudder and your staff"

"From the initial phone contact with Linda, my concerns were put at ease and clearly she expressed the company's desire that we don't spend any more money that is necessary. Their schedules were packed and we made an appointment about a month away. She called me back in a few days and gave me an earlier appointment due to a cancellation. The 2 gentlemen that came were professional, prompt, knowledgeable, personable, efficient, neat, and made the experience an easy, less expensive project. I'm thankful that there are those who are still out there that have great customer service, expertise, very reasonable pricing and good honest personable worth ethic. Bravo...I will tell anyone and everyone about your work! Thank you."

"My wife and I were looking to add a gas log set for our fireplace. We shopped at another place, who told us we absolutely needed a gas lighter for the log set. When we checked out Morrill & Forbes, they not only did not try to sell us the gas lighter (which we really didn't need), but they also had some good advice for us on the style of logs to buy.
We purchased the log set they recommended and could not be happier.
We also had them replace the fireplace screens at the same time they installed the gas logs, and they did a terrific job with the screens as well.
My only complaint is that we had to hire a plumber to remove the old gas log lighter. I do wish they had been able to perform that part of the job as well.
"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair. The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time.
Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot.
I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction.
WRS

"

"The installation of the heater was fine; it was when it stopped working less than two years later that the problem occurred. One of Bohn's technicians looked at it, re-lit the pilot and said to call again if it went out because that would mean that it was probably a valve. I asked him if I should put a bit of willow fencing around the outside vent because maybe the wind was blowing out the pilot and he said no, that would collect gas and make it go out again. The heater did go out the next day and I called Bohn, speaking with the owner Larry. I explained the problem to him and he said he'd call Williams (the company that made the heater) and see about warranty coverage and the cost of the valve. Larry called back the next day and said that the part was not covered and that Williams had quoted him $150 plus tax and shipping. When I asked Larry about his hourly rate, he said it would be $120 an hour but that he would charge me $98 for sending the guy out. When I told him that it did not make sense to me to charge an hourly rate as well as an initial fee he actually raised his voice at me telling me that his overhead was high so he had to charge for time on the road. I asked him, "Ninety eight dollars and the guy was only here for ten minutes?" Larry said, "I guess he has to charge a minimum of a half an hour, I don't know." But, Larry is the owner of the company; he sets the policy. I told him that I'd call back after getting a few other bids.
I called Williams, the manufacturer of the heater, directly and the guy who answered, Vince, went on-line while on the phone with me and found several valves for my heater, ranging from $108 to $140. Vince also told me that the fact that the technician from Bohn Heating and Sheet Metal said that if the heater went out again it was probably the valve showed that the technician did not know what he was talking about and that I should look for a new contractor. He said that the valve would be one of the least likely problems. The most likely was the pilot generator, then the thermostat wiring or the actual thermostat itself.
I called a new Heating and Sheet Metal contractor, Kirk Ask who said, "It sounds like it's the pilot generator, but I won't know until I see it." Since that was exactly what Vince from the heater manufacturer said that the contractor should say, I felt confident. Kirk came out the same day, re-lit the pilot and said that the wind was blowing out the pilot and that I should put up a little fencing around it, loose enough to let the air through but not so tight as to let gasses collect. When he started to leave, I said, "Wait, I haven't paid you." "Happy New Year!" he said. "If I had done any work, that would be different, but I didn't do anything. See you!"
"
