"I can't believe how smoothly this repair went! Everyone at Falcone--the schedulers who arranged our estimate visit and the repair work, the foundation experts who repaired the porch, the finance people who explained the estimate and our final bill--every single one of them was helpful, prompt, courteous, and great at their jobs. The county inspector who reviewed the porch repair even made a point of telling us what high quality work the Falcone people had done for us! I would definitely call them again! If you're interested in our specific details, this repair was crucial to maintaining our house's structural integrity; since the screened-in porch is attached to the house, if it went down the hill, so would the back wall of the house! The foundation had cracked away from the main house and the slab was cracked and sliding apart at different angles. The men from Falcone excavated, cleaned, and prepped the job site, including washing the bottom section of the slab to promote bonding when the new concrete was poured. Then they poured a porch perimeter slab wall under the slab to stabilize the foundation. In addition, they installed a backer rod and applied concrete sealant to re-connect the porch foundation to house and prevent additional damage."

"The team worked diligently and professionally to Waterproof my basement after hurricane Helene caused water to come into my basement. They had to dig down into the foundation, fix the crack and apply waterproofing underneath my patio. While we haven’t had any big time rain since then, it’s been working against any kind of rain happening so far he also guarantees his work which gives peace of mind. They also encapsulated my crawlspace. It looks very professional and well done. It helps keep the humidity down in my crawlspace, and thus and the rest of my house. "Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

"We had a section of concrete slab in our walkway that had settled about 4 inches where it met the stairs to our front door. This was very visible and also caused water to puddle at that location. We were planning to stain and seal the walkway and driveway, but this situation had to be corrected before we could do that. This was a small project relative to what contractors who do this specialized work generally do. <br /> <br /> Southeast Foundation Repair was one of three bids we got for the project. Their initial bid actually matched the highest bid we'd received at the point. They said, however, that if I could wait until Nov 16, they had another larger job in my area and they could "tag this on in the afternoon" and avoid some of the normal costs associated with travel to the job site and set up. This resulted in a substantial savings. <br /> <br /> They called me a few days before the scheduled date to reconfirm. They called again on the day of service to let me know when they would be arriving. They got here when they said they would and quickly got things set up and performed the work. <br /> <br /> The raising and leveling of the concrete slab was done nicely and you cannot tell where the "settling" had been and they made sure that water would now drain away from the stairs. It looks great... and I subsequently had the concrete stained and sealed and you would never know there had been a problem. <br /> <br /> Southeast Foundation Repairs did and excellent job and I would recommend them to others without hesitation."

"Once they got to our home, the work itself was done well and those that performed the work were professional and helpful.  The work supervisor, Buddy was very helpful and accomodating. Really enjoyed working with him.   My frustration came in with the project manager.  I reached out around June 19th or so.  Didn't hear anything from anyone so I emailed again on June 26th. Finally met with him on or around July 11th.  Duirng that time, we had made some changes but didn't get the estimate on the work until Aug 12th with an apology for the delay.  Going back to the emails, I think I have 6 "apologies for the delay" emails.  Work finally began on or about Sept 1.  Adjustments needed to be made to the bill but I never got the new invoice.  I had to reach out in November to get the final. I received the final invoice in December.  <br /> I again reached out to Andrew Roby for siding work.  Reached out in January, sent some pictures to the project manager and never heard back until March at which point I finally received an invoice on additional carpentry repair that was done in December  .  At that point I told them to never mind and informed him that I would no longer be using them. <br /> While I do appreciate the work they did and the work was done well, the overall responsiveness by the project manager made me go elsewhere.  I got the feeling that the handy man work I was asking for may have been too small for this company, in which case, they should have mentioned up front.  If you don't mind waiting forever for things to happen, you'll be happy.  Again, the work itself was done well and the folks that came out were great. <br />"
