"I originally contacted the provider only to remove a clog in one downspout, He told me that what I "really needed" was a gutter tune-up, and I agreed because I believed that was the correct name for the service. I signed the gutter tune-up contract based on his explanation of what the service included. However, the work performed did not match the scope listed on the contract. Only partial cleaning, clearing one clog, trimming a few gutter ends, sealing one seam, replacing one elbow (a 5$ part), and adding screws to downspouts (which were mine) were completed. Clearing a clog is part of a standard gutter cleaning, so this should not have been treated as a separate or premium service. Several required tune-up tasks were not done, including repairing a hole in the gutter seam and fixing a visible gap between the gutter and house above the crawlspace door. I pointed these issues out, but the provider either said he "did not see" the gap or claimed the hole required full gutter replacement, even though both are standard repair items included in a tune-up. Not all seams were sealed, miters, or endcaps. Not all gutters aligned or reinforced. Dirt was also left behind- not a thorough cleaning was done. Despite the incomplete work and missing contract items, I was charged $700 without an itemized invoice. The service delivered did not match the contract I signed or the tune-up he represented."

"My name is Darren Gaines and i got to say hands down Rueda Construction is the best i didn't know who to call but i wanted one person who could do all the work not multiple people and Rueda Construction meet all my needs. A tree hit the corner of my house when Helen hit so miguel the owner came out looked at the damaged and him and his team or i can say his family because its a family business. They really know what they doing they came on time and worked hard my house look like it wasn't even damaged after they finished. Im having him come back to build a roof on the top of deck and other things because they do some many things. FAQs for metal roofing repair projects in Marion, NC

Maintaining your soffit is essential. You must inspect it twice yearly to catch any clear signs of deterioration. Look for cracks, mold, rotted wood, sagging sections, chipped paint, or missing boards. If these issues are detected, contact a professional immediately to repair or replace the damaged soffit and protect your home’s structural integrity.

To maintain your fascia boards and soffits, inspect them regularly to protect your roof and home's structure. Clean your gutters to remove debris and prevent moisture buildup. Repaint any damaged sections to keep moisture at bay. Upgrading drip edges and vents improves airflow and dispels moisture efficiently, helping you avoid severe damage and costly repairs.

While installing a new soffit over an existing soffit isn't common, it may be necessary in some older homes. If removing the original soffit could damage delicate structures, a professional might recommend installing the new soffit without complete removal. Always consult a qualified professional to assess the condition and ensure this method is safe and effective.

When hiring someone for soffit and fascia repair, choose a specialist with proven roofing and gutter systems expertise. A knowledgeable contractor will thoroughly inspect your home and provide a straightforward repair or replacement plan. Check online reviews and ask for references to ensure you receive high-quality service that delivers lasting results and strong protection for your home.
