"Old appliances were disconnected and removed; new drywall and a new ceiling were installed; all walls were painted (and one largely replaced); new appliances were installed quickly and flawlessly; cabinets ordered from Cabinet Discounters (Columbia, MD) were expertly installed; electrical work was also performed and new lighting installed.
The actual work was done by John E. Ruth employees Lesley and Tom Reynolds. They had done work before on our bathroom, so we knew they would do a good job, and indeed their work was exemplary. The work Leslie and Tom did on our kitchen was meticulous and thorough; they were punctual, conscientious, and utterly trustworthy. Given the keys to our house, they showed up when they said they would, worked independently (loosely supervised by project manager Pat Graham), kept us informed at every step, and often went beyond the letter of the specs to add a beautiful extra touch.
One example: the kitchen faucet we had bought turned out to be taller than expected; Tom reshaped the window sill behind it attractively. An even better example: when the kitchen ceiling was being repaired and unexpectedly collapsed upon them, Tom and Lesley replaced the entire ceiling with meticulously level and smooth drywall. We were not charged extra for this.
Perhaps the best example of the care that Tom and Leslie put into this project came when my wife, Teresa, discovered Tom fastidiously spackling and re-smoothing a certain part of the wall. When she pointed out that that wall would be behind a cabinet, and that no one would ever know, Tom replied, "I will know," and continued his ministrations.
Pat Graham, our project manager, was punctual and responsive and kept all his promises. None of the horror stories we've heard about contractors came to pass, and we are unreservedly delighted with the results."

"AES is a truly great contracting company. We had been planning to remodel our master bathroom for a few years, and when we finally decided to do it we found AES. While we interviewed a number of contractors, AESs professionalism, experience and approach really came through. Our sales representative, David Hill, was terrific and walked us through the entire process and gave us recommendations and even went shopping with us giving us his thoughts and ideas. Our contractors, Brian and Scott were beyond amazing. The transformation our our bathroom is truly beyond what we could have expected and they were great in providing updates and giving us recommendations on what they thought would look best. They also treated our house with the utmost of respect and cleaned up very well at the end of each work day. One hiccup towards the end of the project was our vanity top was made the incorrect size, and since we had already been without a bathroom for 4+ weeks we were definitely disappointed and frustrated. Tim Munson, AESs President, worked with us to get the problem resolved and a new vanity made and installed within three days, which we really appreciated. In todays day or big box stores and companies, AES really sets themselves apart with their approach to customer service, craftsmanship and getting the job done correctly. I would highly recommend contacting AES for your next remodeling project you will not be disappointed. I know we will definitely hire them again."

"Robert and his crew did an excellent job! We had a large whirlpool tub in the master bath but no shower. Robert took a look with me, listened to what we wanted and shared his knowledge and ideas. They removed the tub and surround, replaced the space with a large walk-in shower, complete with 2 heads, bench, niches and frameless glass door/panels. All new tile and floor. "Everything about Dimitri's company is the absolute best. Dimitri and his sons and employees are very knowledgeable, hard-working, respectful and they did a fabulous job with my bathroom. This bathroom had been previously gutted by someone else so everything in there had to be done. New plumbing and electrics had to be installed as well as new tiles on the floor and on the walls. They put in a new shower, toilet and vanity -and now I have the most gorgeous bathroom, I love it. The men always arrived when they said they would; they are very friendly and kind as well as being courteous. This is a family business and Dimitri and his sons all work together, to get the job done. These guys are truly professionals. Dimitri, his sons and family have a wide knowledge of renovations and a wide range of skills. As a result of their great work in my home, I also asked them to install two custom storm doors, back and front and now I am getting a quote for a new deck and covered porch.
