I'm looking down at my downspouts and I'm seeing webs and leaves on the downspouts part. He was like, "Oh your gutters are clean." The little debris he took off, he just threw it in the yard and left, I was picking it up myself. At the end, he told me I needed new gutters. He said the people that put these up here didn't know what they were doing. The gutter master that I have, is the thing that stops leaves from coming in. He said, "Oh yeah, they went out bankrupt." I didn't know they went bankrupt, I just knew they weren't in business no more. He said, "Oh yeah, you need to have this replaced." He was telling me about the product they have. He didn't have any cards to give me, he didn't have any fliers on it, no literature, he just wrote down a phone number and I'm like, "That sure doesn't sound right to me." The price was right in the same ballpark from what the others were. It was average. But, to me, they really didn't do a damn thing. I wasn't pleased with what he did. He could have cleaned up after himself. I just wasn't pleased with the work, I really wasn't, not at all."

"This contractor has been in the roofing business for 30 years and knows his trade. I had lower bids and higher bids, but he itemized all the materials down to the dollar in his initial bid- NOBODY else did that on the 5 other bids I got. I gave him a "B" on price just because I'm a cheapskate. He was there just about all the time with his crew, and I had the opportunity to go up and see his craftsmanship and concern for detail several times during the job. NOTE: There was a great deal of rain during this job, but he watched the weather like a hawk and his crew only took off sections of roof that they could cover back up in a timely fashion. I never had a spot of moisture in the house even after a really high wind thunderstorm during the middle of the job. He gives a 10 year warranty on his labor- the next best I saw was a 5 year- and most only give 2 or 3 year. I recommend him without any hesitation."
