"I purchased the shower door from Home Depot (which is a painful experience at the Ellenwood Home Depot--unprofessional, unknowledgeable bunch).  I paid for installation of the shower door by a Home Depot contractor, which was Affordable Contracting.  The sales rep was friendly and helpful, and the 2-person crew dispatched completed the job quickly and expertly.  <br /> <br /> I do believe the price charged by Home Depot/Affordable is a bit high ($250 to install a $300 door).  Affordable charges an extra $75 if they pick up the door from Home Depot.  To be fair, I don't know if this price is set by Home Depot or the contractor, but I've had $1000 doors installed by Home Depot that took 5 hours to complete and I was charged less."
