"A Saturday nite after hours call! Mr Palmer and his crew are heroes. I had just had my hvac serviced a few days before, and of course on a saturday night trying to go to bed, it quits working in ninety degree weather. My ac man forwarded my calls. Mr. Palmer and crew came out, and apparently the prior workers did some pretty important errors. He fixed everything that they did wrong, Went through the whole system and made sure it was up and running and our house was cooling again so we could go to sleep. "Augusta Appliance replaced heat sensor in my oven. Before replacing sensor he talked with me about the age of my oven and cautioned me that there was a chance that this would not fix the problem. I called him that night and told him that the problem was not fixed. He came  back to my house and tried to find another part but parts are not being made for my oven anymore. I ended up having  to buy a new oven but felt that Augusta Appliance was very helpful in trying to solve my problem. "After describing the problem in detail ( to include the model and serial numbers) , a service call was scheduled for between Noon and 5 PM on Monday. After waiting four hours I called to see if the repair man was coming and left a voice mail. The technician telephoned at 4:30 and asked what the problem was. I repeated the same description as when I made the appointment. The tech said that it would require a part replacement that he did not have. He said we would be called with the price when they found out the cost. When we received the return call, we found that they were going to charge for the part, the labor to replace it, and $88 for the "service call" even though their technician never showed up. I think it is dishonest to charge for a service call when the tech never came to the house. Incredible!"
