"My wife noticed a scratching / crawling sound that appeared to be coming from HVAC duct work. An inspection by HVAC contractor found a duct run that was disconnected from floor vent, and several spots where animals could enter into crawl space in home. Also noted several places where animal droppings were found. The entry areas were sealed properly by the HVAC contractor, however the scratching noise continued to occur early in the morning and late in the evening. <br /> We contacted Butler Pest Control based on reviews and ratings found here on Angie's List. They responded promptly, examined the crawl space and determined that their was either a raccoon, opossum, or squirrel under the home. Traps were baited and strategically located in the crawl space under the home. The noise continued that evening and early the next morning Butler came back to examine the traps which were empty but the bait had been eaten. Smaller traps were then baited and installed. Late that evening louding screeching noises were heard under the home and when Butler returned to check the traps the next morning one of them had a squirrel in it. The squirrel was taken to a remote farm area and released. <br /> Since the removal of the offending critter who we affectionately named Brotha Man we have not had any further noises in the crawl space. A job well done by Butler Pest Control. I'll definitely be using them to treat the home for termites. <br />"

"I had used Butch Medlin and his crew at Distinctive Homes before and knew that he did a first-rate job on roofing and related repairs, so I called him again for this job at my mother-in-law's home. They did not disappoint, doing a superb job from beginning to end.  Butch was prompt in arriving to review the proposed work on 6/3, prompt in submitting the repair quote (next day) and prompt in completing the work in three days (finished on 6/10).  This work was "part 2" of a project which was necessary due to faulty concrete which had caused water damage to outside storage room walls, where water leaked into the storage room and then into garage.  (Part 1 was the tearing out and repouring of concrete by Eugene Wigginton - see separate Angie's list review for Eugene's excellent work.) <br> <br>This project had three components (see detail) and Butch personally worked on the project along with three others.  Butch noted that there was significant deterioration of studs in the storage room and went the extra mile to ensure the walls were stable prior to replacing the siding.  The area outside the storage room truly looks "better than new" after the painting, caulking and extra trim boards were added. <br> <br>On the outside front of the house, most all the work was at the second story level.  They removed deteriorated boards, replaced them, then caulked and repainted.  They repaired and repainted a front door sidelight and also fixed and tightened up a gutter at no extra charge.  <br> <br>I would not hesitate to use Butch again for any home repair items.  I could not be more pleased, nor could my mother-in-law, for whom the work was done.  She has already told friends about the excellent work. <br>"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"
