"My regular mason retired and I hate finding a new contractor. I took a shot and called Long Island Mason and Concrete. The owner arrived within an hour, we looked the job over. Large shed I'm replacing and I wanted a slab. He then offered to do the shed demo and haul it all away. The total quote was very resonable so I said, "do it". He asked when I wanted it done and I said ASAP. I got a call a day later telling me they would be here tomorrow. Great crew arrived at 8:00, demoed the shed, hauled it away, cleaned and leveled the area, installed the forms and poured. They were done and gone by noon. I now have a new Mason and I'm thrilled to use them again for upcoming projects in my family."

"I hired A&J Masonary Hardscapes to totally demo and redo my driveway, walkway, front steps, backyard patio and backyard steps. From the start to scheduling with Joe to meeting with Anthony I knew that this was going to be the company I hire to do the job. The price was fair, we made the deal and 2 1/2 weeks later they arrived to start. The job went flawlessly and even if there were any concerns Anthony and Joe were always either at the job site or just a call/text away. One week later I had a brand new front and back yard. At the end of the job the guys leveled out the front and back yard and even put down seed which I was not expecting. "Wanted to have new storm doors installed, both front and back yard in an older house. Jakob came out to assess the situation and give a run down on what would need to be done. Showed options for types of doors he could do and the work it entailed. He and his team were able to start a couple of days later. Job to a total of 2 1/2 days. They removed and reframed the doors, installed new doors and screens with brand new locks and insulation around the framework. They actually ran into a small situation with the back door and had to lay down some concrete because of the original design of the house, but they took care of it without hesitation. They even patched up an old hole in the kitchen ceiling he saw when came in the initial visit, no charge! He checks in on his guys to make sure everything is going according to plan and his crew is very good at what they do. Looking forward to having him do some other jobs when the time comes."

"Torres Contracting helped us with installing a new sidewalk, paved driveway (with specific requirements re design), a side area for the garbage cans and cement for part of a back porch. We hired Tony and Torres Contracting after a lot of due diligence. Tony is a busy man and communicates efficiently by text. He and his daughter addressed all my questions and concerns by phone, email and text. Further the team was excellent- including Juan, Edwin and several others— honest, technically very good and incredibly hard working especially in very hot weather! Torres Contracting was fair on pricing, the project was done in a la efficient manner and the work product is excellent. I am grateful we hired Tony and his company and I highly recommend them as a trustworthy company that does excellent work! "Martinez Brick came the following day to inspect my “3 sidewalk squares” for replacement. He told me the 4th one should also be replaced, as it was elevated. He gave me a price for 4 squares that was less than a competitors price for 3. Then he said that he would cut $400 off if I could do it “this Saturday”, a date at his convenience because he had a job close by. I said “great!” It rained Saturday and he couldn’t pour cement in the rain. He said “I’ll be there Tuesday”, and I’m honoring the discounted price. Okay. Monday night he called and said he will come Wednesday for sure because he doesn’t want his workers pouring cement in 98 degree heat! I like a boss who cares about his employees. He came on Wednesday and did a PERFECT job!"
