"The quality of his work is impeccable! My neighbor came over to see the finished bathtub. She wants to hire him to do her bathtub and tiles! I have 2 other neighbors and I will recommend Rob. He is the utmost professional and left the bathroom clean and neat. I would definitely hire him again for future work when I move into my new place."

"When putting the request out to Angi, Adam from superior porcelain resurfacing reached out the same day (they were the only ones to respond). His quote was similar to the other companies I called so I felt good about the project. He seemed to be a one man show and worked without taking a break to complete the job. He educated us on our tub (it was just incredibly dirty—didn’t need refinishing). He made it look new and at a cheaper cost. The grouting in our bathtub was in need of repair and so we hired him to come back to complete it. We are really satisfied with the work and would highly recommend this company to take care of your porcelain resurfacing needs."

"Had my old bathtub reglazed when bathroom redone to match all. Bathtub looks very good, color match is very good as well. Explained what to expect prior to job, on time and half day job as told. Mailed bath mat to my home as they promised. Only con was the masking job not perfect and some spray got on some items in bathroom, removed myself with some 100 steel wool. All in all - very satisfied, more importantly my wife was satisfied."

"Jorge has done an excellent job at refinishing my old bathtub. He is highly knowledgeable and skilled with resurfacing. He was very prepared with his materials for the job that needed to be done. I hired him immediately as I saw he is very honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable of his work. He did an absolutely amazing job of making an old tub look new again. He prepped the area , very thoroughly and all areas were carefully protected. Room was also carefully sealed well, as it is a job involves chemicals. He did an amazing job and left the room spotless. I would very highly recommend Jorge for any re-glazing job. He deserves more than 5 stars from me. Excellent job done , by a hard and experienced worker. You will be very pleased with his work."

"I have pictures (before and after) and emails that document this whole process.

I mostly corresponded with Chris Walsh via email to set up date, time, and the specifics of the job. He came to our apartment and gave us a quote on the job.

Chris and his partner Eddie showed up on time to refinish/reglaze my bathroom tub and tiles and to do some regrouting work. They also removed my old sink and installed a new sink. The had taped up the wall so the bathtub/tile paint would not get onto my regular walls.

They did the work within the day. They had to go to Home Depot three different times because as they were stripping my tub, they clogged it, so they had to go buy a snake. Then they didn't have one of the proper pipes to fit my new sink, and they went a third time for another item for the sink. I was glad that they took the initiative to go to Home Depot to buy the proper equipment and not just make due with what they had.

When they were done, Chris had told us that some dust might settle and that it would dissipate within 2 weeks.

My issues with there work:

1. The tape they used to tape up the walls totally ruined my walls and left black scuff marks all over it so I had to repaint.
2. They didn't glaze the underside of my soap station, my towel bar, and they missed many spots where the tile meets the wall. That part was originally black so I could definitely see were they missed it.
3. Some of the grouted areas had holes.

HOWEVER, Chris did call me the next day to see if I was pleased with the work. I told him overall, it was fine, but that I was unsatisfied with certain areas. He told me that he would come back to fix those areas and we scheduled an appointment.

On the scheduled date and time, Chris did not show up. I called him and he said that he forgot to put it in his calendar and if he could come the following week.

The Following week, Chris did show up do fix the work stated above. We had a disagreement on the grouting. He said that they agreed to only regrout where was needed... I agreed with that, but his idea of and quot;as neededand quot; and mine were totally different. He did say that he would see what he could do and did regrout some areas that I did not think were good enough.

Also, he did not recall telling me that the and quot;dustand quot; would disappate within a couple of weeks. That part of the tile was spotting with air bubbles. However, he did eventually reglaze that part.

He asked me to check everything before he left. I did and saw that where he painted was shiny so I it looked okay. He also was nice enough to remove the paint that got on my windowsill from the original appointment.

The next day, after my husband removed the tape, I noticed that when Chris had come back to fix the errors of the original appointment, he used a totally different white so it was terrible. Also, the tape he used a bit of the original reglazing off so I saw my old tile color.

I was not happy at all. So I emailed Chris and told him that he used a different white and that he had to come back to fix it again. he did not respond for a few days so I emailed him again. He eventually responded saying that his partner would come to fix the errors and he would contact me. His partner did not contact me after a week so I emailed Chris again. His partner finally contacted me this Monday and he came today to fix the mistakes.

If you decide to hire them, know that they are on time and will come back and fix errors. Get ever detail in writing and make sure its worded correctly because we disagreed regarding the grout. Overall, my tub is 100% better than it was before. I am just not happy that they had to come back three times to get it right as it took a lot of time out of my family's schedule.

"Ty Salazar is a nice guy, very knowledgeable, and a great kitchen designer. The work that eventually got done was of high quality, and his people were very responsive to our requests. The problem was in the scheduling and timing. Essentially, Ty seemed to lose touch with the project about halfway through, and that's where it all went south. We had timed everything so that the work would get done over the summer and we'd have a functional (if not 100% complete) kitchen by Labor Day, after which the kids would be back in school and we needed a working kitchen. I asked about this repeatedly and was repeatedly told that this would happen. I pushed hard to get all of the materials and appliances ordered so that they would be delivered on time. Well, we went away for 2 weeks before Labor Day, and when we got back, the work was nowhere near complete -- yet I was invoiced for the completion of the project. Several times I asked for a project schedule, not once was I given one. I gather that part of the problem was that we had to have permits for plumbing and electrical work and the "prima donna" behavior of the licensed plumber and electrician, who didn't show up when they were supposed to, left jobs uncompleted, etc. At any rate, we didn't have a working kitchen until late September, and the finishing cosmetic work took another few weeks to finish up. The final piece of the puzzle, a shelf that had to be custom made for a corner base cabinet, wasn't ready until January, and I got so tired of waiting for it to be delivered that I went out to Forest Hills myself to pick it up. No question about it, we love the new kitchen. But I was really not happy with the timeliness or the lack of communication over the scheduling."
