Gleyson Olivera from Vellox was the only company rep of all of the other 5 quotes I received who came to my home AND walked me around my house giving recommendations as well as listening to my concerns. The lead time was acceptable, the quotation was competitive and there were no "hidden" extras such as rotten wood add-ons. Also, Vellox was the only company to account for overhangs on my roof and bring the ice and water shield farther up the roof. All of the other companies missed this. I made the decision to go with Vellox and the work was completed in one day. The workers did a fantastic job, the installation looks extremely precise, neat and it's painfully obvious how poorly installed my original roof was. I am beyond pleased. "Roofing company sent someone within a few hours of my call (on May 22 or 23) to do an estimate. Company president (Parker Willard) and his son (Parker, Jr.) arrived, and were punctual and personable. They showed me photos of the roof and explained what needed to be done. An estimate was provided by email within about 24 hours. I signed the contract and offered to provide a deposit, later that week. I was told no deposit would be required for this small job. We were told that the work would be scheduled the following week. The work was actually done on June 7 and 8, consistent with a call made to us earlier that week to schedule it. It was a one-man job, for about 1-1/2 days. The worker was pleasant and readily responded to a request to check a couple of shingles he had not done. From what I can see of it, the work was done neatly and appears to be what we asked for. (I can see the finished bay window roof from a window above it.) All in all, we were quite pleased. Note: I put "N/A" on price because I chose not to get other bids, so I do not know if another roofer would have charged more or less than we paid. I went sole-source because of the relatively small amount of work, this company;s A rating, their responsiveness to my call, and limitations on my own schedule that week."

"LCT did an excellent job. They arrived right on time and had a large number of roofers--7-8 men. They worked quickly and carefully, draping the entire house and making an effort to watch out for plants (though some damage to them is inevitable). James, the salesman, recommended that we install plywood over the entire roof in order to be sure to get all the warranties on our Certainteed shingles. He showed me where they require less than a certain size maximum opening between roofing boards, and also showed me the many places in our attic where there were spaces larger than allowed. That added about $2400 to our quote, but seems like a good investment. They stripped the old roof, installed the plywood carefully over every roofing surface, shingled and cleaned up in one work day. They returned the next day to install a flat rubber roof on our porch, also very well done. While all their work was excellent, we were a bit concerned that many of the laborers traveled in the back of their vans--which had no seats or seatbelts. Nonetheless, the workers reported liking working for this company, and that they were well-treated. Luis, the owner, called us soon after to see if we were happy with the work. Nice work, LCT!"
