"We were delighted with the work done. We received the new bathroom countertop which was fashioned from our <br /> previous laundry counter top. It turned out excellent. Not only were the openings for sink and faucet perfect, when <br /> it came time for us to install the undermount sink, we were more than delighted that Merrimack Stone took it upon <br /> themselves to drill the holes for the screws and epoxy them in so that we had nothing to do but screw the undermount sink <br /> in place. We had no idea that they would take that upon themselves (it never occurred to us) and make the installation job <br /> so easy. They had to remove the old backsplash and sidesplash which they did with absolutely no damage to our old counter and recut those pieces to the new size that we needed. It was flawless. When I initially went to pick out the new larger granite for our laundry room counter, I had picked out two possible choices. When we went to pick up our laundry counter, we were told that they cut the counter out of my second choice in error. Cody asked me to look at the second choice and reassured me that after seeing it, if I <br /> had any second thoughts and was not thoroughly happy with that granite, they would be more than happy to recut the counter from <br /> my top choice. I did decide to go with my favorite. I felt so badly to have them redo the job, but Cody couldn't have been nicer or more <br /> reassuring that he didn't mind, it wasn't a problem and he wanted me to be 100% happy with my selection. The job was redone and <br /> I received the counter in a week. It was perfect. I absolutely love love love the two granite tops. This was a very small job for Merrimack Stone, certainly not a big kitchen project but Cody and his staff made me feel like my job was just as valuable and important to them as it was to me. "This company is a family concern, with very basic offerings. The staff are friendly and helpful when they are available. They had the granite we were looking for in stock. Tom Falcucci met us and took us around to lay out the design, with a good eye. There was a delay on starting due to shipping issues from our sink supplier and their vacation. They did a superb job with the kitchen countertops, matching and seaming. The backsplash on one sink had to be adjusted, and they came back to pair down an edge that was bumping a cabinet door. In the bath, the tub surround was tricky, and they did not warn us the frame was not level, so the granite was not level. The carpenter made an adjustment afterwards, so it won't be under pressure, but this could have been coordinated better. He did supply matching shower shelves. The countertop on the half bath cracked, and he claimed it was superficial and wouldn't make good on it. We got only a verbal one year guarantee, nothing in writing."
