When my roof started leaking in early August, I finally contacted Artisan, and that was the best decision I made. 1. Brian’s inspection is incredibly professional Brian came to my house right away. He walked through the interior with me, then carefully inspected the entire roof outside. He took clear, detailed photos and organized them so I could understand exactly what was happening. Those photos were key evidence for my State Farm claim. I had contacted four roofing companies before—none of them came close to the level of detail Brian provided. 2. Brian joined the insurance meeting and helped me WIN approval When State Farm sent their adjuster, Brian came immediately—even though they arrived early. He waited patiently for the third-party inspector (who was late), and then walked them through every problem area. He clearly explained the hail damage, the leaks, and exactly why it needed approval. Honestly, State Farm is famous for being strict, but with Brian’s help, I finally got approved for a full roof replacement. I was so relieved and grateful. 3. He also helped me get approval for interior repairs There were water stains inside my house caused by the roof leak. I didn’t even know I could include this in the claim, but Brian talked to the adjuster directly and helped me get additional coverage for the interior repairs as well. This is the kind of detail and professionalism you rarely see. 4. The installation team was also excellent Once approved, the Artisan team finished the entire roof in one day. Fast, clean, and high quality. They also found a few issues (like an old dryer vent), took pictures, and sent me updates during the day so I always knew what was happening. Every step felt responsible and transparent. 5. Great communication, great local company From emails about payment, to warranty details, to color selection—they were always clear, quick, and helpful. It feels good to work with a local, trustworthy, professional company. "I needed four new exterior exhaust vents, some vinyl siding popped back into place, a shingle replaced, and a ceiling hook installed. Two of the vents, vinyl, and the shingle were about 16+ feet up, and the other two vents were about 10 feet up. I mostly wanted to get someone out here to do it because I didn't want to buy a $200+ extendable ladder to do it myself. I was contacted and given pricing fairly quickly. Which at $55/hr with no minimum of 3-4 hours, beats the other handymen I've gotten quotes for. He arrived, and was very polite and friendly. Absolutely great person in general. He jumped right into the work, and I wasnt given an estimate after he understood the work needed. but given quotes by others and over the phone, I imagined it to be maybe like 2 hours (or 3 with a supply run), so I didn't pay it any mind. It took 4.5 hours, though I believe the handyman doing the maintenance was experienced, he seemed to definitely be new to the company and had to call back about certain procedures. At one point the professional asked for my help during the work day, or else he was going to need either someone else or different tools (which when you're paying hourly, the meters running, so I may as well help). They didn't bring a 8-10 foot ladder, so the professional borrowed mine. When moving their 20ft ladder, there was nearly a point where I pointed out the end of ladder was starting to pull up my shingles while he was trying to finagle the positioning of this ladder. The work on the vents is certainly caulked, but the vinyl siding around it is questionable. I don't think there will be a problem with any of the vents moving forward, and certainly functional. However, the vinyl edging around the vents (to essentially make them look pretty, and maybe prevent water) was torn away when pulled out which I don't think was necessary. The rest of the vinyl siding and the shingle was repaired, and due to the clock ticking, I decided to do the ceiling hook and light repositioning. When given the final invoice, I wanted to pay with Credit Card, it wasn't until as I was paying that I was presented with a 3.5% charge for using Credit Card, that isn't on their original pricing sheet given to me by email. Overall, The handyman was experienced though new, I received no estimate in the beginning, I was surprised at how long it took, quality was very average, professionalism was good at times and terrible in others. But the work did get done, and I don't think Ill have a problem with the work down the road. They do have one of the best prices out there, but it took long enough that it didnt matter at that point. Additionally, a surprise 3.5% upcharge for credit card is kind of obnoxious. Given the opportunity again, I would probably someone else."

Through this process I interfaced with Brett who was extremely knowledgeable and provided no high pressure tactics. After conducting a rather thorough review of the attic, Brett identified locations of leaks I had previously noted and a few additional locations. After negotiations on the selection of shingles, schedule and cost, agreement was reached in a rather streamline process. Negotiations were concluded quickly and finance arrangements made without any hassles. Over the couple of week before project started, both Brett and folks from the company kept in contact. Work started on schedule and the crew was extremely professional, polite and hard working. Crew protected all plants, shrubs and walkways and then kept up with clean-up as old roofing was removed. All decking areas with any signs of water damage was removed and replaced. The crew worked **** ** the over 4400 sq ft roof. We were extremely pleased with the appearance of the final product. And we appreciate the final review that was conducted a few days later to ensure all our expectations were meet. The guarantee that came with the contract ensured that we were not only protected but that the the guarantee was transferable should we sell the property in the future. Having owned eight properties in my working career, I have had 4 roofs replaced and this was by far the easiest and most satisfying project that I had experienced.
