"Floors Sag or Shake was one of three estimates we got to reinforce the sagging floors in four rooms of our older home. We went with them based on the work they proposed and their positive online reviews, and we are completely satisfied with their work. They worked over three days to pour concrete footings, jack up the floors as best as possible, and then add permanent supports. They also removed an old vapor barrier and installed a new one. Each day, they arrived early and worked through the day. They communicated well and were courteous and professional. Prior to their work, our floors were not even close to level. More importantly, when walking on them, we could feel them "giving" under our weight. Now, our floors feel solid and look level throughout the house. While this type of work isn't as "fun" as other renovations, the cost of this repair is worth the peace of mind. Every time we walk across our floors, we are reminded of our investment. "George is a pleasure to work with....dependable, pleasant, patient, and a great listener. He's fair, shows up, and does good work; what more could we ask for? George did both carpentry and tile installation for us. We picked a tough tile pattern for an oddly shaped/angled room, and he did a beautiful job. He has great attention to detail and helped us solve all sorts of quirky problems to make things look their best. He has been patient with supply delays, helpful with trouble shooting as we make decisions, and good at helping us think through things to make good choices through our renovation. We had searched for months for the tile we wanted and had finally purchased one we could tolerate. When George found out we didn't love it, the night before he was supposed to start laying it, he referred us to a tile source that had exactly what we wanted...and was so patient in the delay that caused. Gotta love that kind of integrity! He's the best tiler we've used and is making our new trim look lovely. He's our new "go to guy" for all things home.
