They quoted a price to come out and assess, but did not charge for doing so, although we had call them the day of the appointment to remind them of the appointment. They made sure to mention in the initial phone call that they buy and sell houses as well. They came out and once we mentioned that we were soon selling our house, they were more concerned with telling us what repairs needed to be done in the entire house, than with focusing on the repair they were requested to assess. The estimate was for $1500-$8000, depending on if we just wanted the repair of the shower leak or the entire bathroom redone. There was an access panel, which they saw and pointed out at the visit, that could have been an option to use for the repair, but instead their estimate was for the route of repairing through the tiling in the bathroom. We went with a different plumber and got the shower repaired done for under $100."

After working on the unit for about an hour he determined that the unit had died and there was no hope reviving it - it was 14 years old after all. WIthin a few days Henry was back and installed our new unit. Around the time he installed our unit, our second unit died. We had him replace it as well. The work was done in a timely manner and we have been completely satisfied. We would definitely hire B A R Appliances again for our HVAC needs."

"I purchased a deal on Angies List and specified a couple of times that would be available. I got a response within 1 hour saying that my earliest time (9am the next day) would work. The plumber arrived at 9:30 and snaked the drain. He also provided me and my roommate with a list of things not to put through the garbage disposal. Lemon or Lime peels were the no-no that surprised me the most.
All in all the provider was very professional, punctual, and did more than was required. I plan on using them for plumbing needs in the future.
