"Representative was very friendly and made an appointment to come to our home to put together an estimate. He was very knowledgeable about fencing, materials, etc. I was impressed with the sample materials that he brought to demonstrate the quality of their product. He also explained that, since they do things the right way, their company's estimate would undoubtedly be higher than the others I would receive. Fair enough--I appreciated being told upfront. I also understand that you get what you pay for. But, everything in life is a cost-benefit analysis. After assuring the rep we would be in contact once we made a decision, he stated that he definitely would not be hassling me to pressure me into going with his company. As it turns out, of the many companies that I reached out to, this rep kept badgering me with more and more messages. Other companies might send one or two follow up emails, but this guy was persistent! Even after gently informing him that it is simply not in our budget (their quote was $3700 more than two of the lower bids we received), he would still send messages telling me how our fence wouldn't last since we are going with a subpar company. I have no doubt they do excellent work, but they also need to respect that customers are going to request multiple quotes and not everyone is able to go with their company"

"The team Fence & Deck sent to install a fence in my backyard—an area measuring about 1/6th of an acre—were quick, efficient, and friendly. The first team member showed up just before 7:30 to start dismantling the old fence. By 8 AM, the rest of the team was hard at work. It was a quieter process than I thought, to be honest—which was great, as my neighbors work from home. They were finished by 2 PM; had cleaned up, packed up the old fence and their equipment and were gone. There were issues with installing the new fence: trees had grown into the fence path, most of them belonging to the neighbors. The team presented me with possible solutions at each point, so I could get the fence I wanted—or as close as was possible given the obstacles. It was a very low-stress construction day, and we—and our neighbors—really like the results."

"Came out quickly (first of the three competing companies to schedule an estimate, then complete it). Very fair pricing. Our install date was affected by weather which was frustrating, but not their fault obviously. We had a 3 rail split rail fence installed with 3 gates. They made the gates custom on site, which was awesome to watch. The owner is Carlos and he is very fair and reasonable. He was also quite patient with me pestering him with questions, comments, and concerns. They do more than just fencing and we will be using them for future projects. Thank you!"

"Wonderful experience!! This is the second time we have used Maryland Decking and Kyle Funk as our salesperson; they came in on budget for our project and in the time frame that we needed. Kyle is great, but we had a couple questions regarding the placement during installation, so he showed up day of installation with shovel in hand. They want things to be as right as we did, which is refreshing. GREAT customer service! The project consisted of extended a patio that we had done by them a few years ago, you would never know that it wasn’t original, blends perfectly and the crew couldn’t have been better, they worked hard and when we asked a question they stopped to listen and then gave us the answer without being annoyed. Left the site neat and clean too. Hard to find good workers, with good customer service while staying in budget and on time with a great salesperson on top of it! He was up front about possible delays getting the wood needed for the fence, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. "An outstanding job by Jose and his assistant Miguel. They were efficient, prompt and professional. We had several panels of siding that needed to be re-secured on 2 areas of the upper level of our home. Additionally one wall of our screen porch had been loose for some time. We had received several proposals from different contractors about securing the wall or rebuilding the wall that involved a great deal of inconvenience and expense. Jose was able to quickly assess the situation and fix the problem within the allotted project time. He is a real pro and a pleasure to deal with. Tracy at the main office also did a terrific job of keeping in touch and letting me know when to expect the workmen. I highly recommend them."
