"First of all, I can can do plumbing myself, but it usually involves more than a day or two and multiple trips to one of the big box stores. Since the tub hardware was old and corroded, I didn't want to take a chance of making things worse, so I decided to call in a professional; that the toilet started leaking was a (happy) coincidence for me, so he or she could do that at the same time.
