"A & D Exteriors completed a complete roof installation at my home. Excellent work! A & D met with me to evaluate the job and provided a great overview presentation for me of what would be done. Working with Dustin setting up the project was so easy. He listened to my concerns and areas that I wanted to focus on with regard to the roof. Katrina was great, helping us select the materials that would complement our home. I had two layers of roof that had to be removed. The crew did this so quickly and efficiently. They addressed areas of wood that needed to be fixed with no problem. I also had bathroom vents routed properly to the roof as well. Bath vents were not properly routed before, and Dustin had this correction as part of our project. They use the best vents on the market for this. Robert’s roof caps. The roof shingles and flashing were done with care and quality. I even watched one of the team members as he carefully positioned shingles each time so they were perfect. They took their time to do the job right, but are so efficient the project is done in one day. The crew cleaned up the property so well afterwards, which is a difficult task after taking off two layers of roofing. "The workmen showed up when they were scheduled, tore off the old roofing which were a heavy triple tabbed shingle and prepared the roof for the new shingles. The job was done in three days and everything was cleaned up like no one was here. I had a bad leak down a wall in the breezeway which we hoped the new roof would fix but it did not so Mr. Celeste sent someone back in the spring when then could get to it after the snow left. The problem was unrelated to the roof but they fixed it at no extra cost, and after five years the leak is gone. I was very happy with the whole experience. <br />"

"I will try to keep this short. I have waited weeks till I had time to completely digest the events. I am retired, skilled and experienced in the trades plus I have many decades as a skilled and US Gov. licensed technician and inspector. The ONLY thing that kept this from being a D were the two guys nailing down the shingles. I watched them like an FAA inspector. They aligned each shingle before nailing it x5. The "roof" looks good but not my driveway. I was up on the roof the entire time with the "good crew." I saw ALL their flaws and was shocked. I wish I could post the photos I took. My drive was now has approximately 30 feet of grooves cut into it by the carpenter of this crew. He was cutting plywood for repairs and just laid the wood flat on my drive way and cut away with his skill saw. Well the skill saw went through the wood right into my drive way. I showed the Project Manager and he said "well when you reseal the drive way it will cover up the all the cuts." This same designated crew carpenter cut plywood repairs either way to small and left 1/2" to 3/4" gaps or to big. If they were to big he just beat on the plywood or jumped up and down on it till it went in. This was done to the GREAT amusement of other crew members. This same Crew Carpenter "tried" to drive a 8 Common Nail but it dent over. Instead of pulling the bent over nail out he just hammered in so laid horizontally smashed into the plywood. In front of the crew I dug it out and put in a nail correctly. They cut shingles on newly laid Ice Barrier material cutting the barrier. I mentioned this to the Project Manager and he said " the shingles will cover it." Ice Barrier is self sticking. One section had waves in it. I brought this to the Crew Lead and he said they will just cut the width of the Ice Barrier to get it to lay flat. So much for the Ice Barriers integrity. One of the guys just threw the styrofoam chutes vents in the attic between the roof rafters. The chutes say right on them staple. None of mine were stapled or pushed down into the eaves correctly. I corrected all of them myself. The project Manager was going to I subtract for my time spent. I said no thanks. My brown Valley W Channel was dented and scratched up. One 3" dent came close to going through the this metal. I again mentioned this to the Project Manager and he said it probable happened by dragging stuff over the installed Valley W Channel. For brevity these are only some of the problems/issues. The Project "only" said sorry when I handed him the final $10,000.00 check. I did speak to a manager and salesman from Infinity. They fixed stuff and offered to replace the dented and scratched W Valley Channel. I declined because it would require disturbing a good number of fresh/new shingles. For the many cuts in my driveway they offered $300 off the bill. We told them to donate the $300 to a local private animal shelter and do it in our name. It you use this company you or somebody knowledgeable in this type work oversee EVERYTHING ALL the time. The clean up guy worked hard for 12 hours picking up all the old stuff as it came off the roof."

"Like many in our subdivision, we were approaching 20 years on our roof and had suffered some wind and hail damage related to some heavy storms earlier in the year. After seeing others in the subdivision having work done on their homes, my wife and I decided to take the plunge and try our hand with getting it approved through insurance (knowing the unlikelihood of getting full coverage on an old roof, particularly with one of the big-name insurance companies). We were connected with Eugene from Estate Exteriors through high recommendations from another person in our subdivision. In particular, Eugene works as a licensed public adjuster and has insight towards what is typically looked at by insurance companies before the decision is made to approve funding for roof repair. From the beginning I was very impressed with Eugene's professionalism. He arrived promptly a few minutes after I texted him, and got up on the roof to do a quick assessment. I admired Eugene's frequent and clear communication; he never used language that was too "over my head" and made sure I had a good understanding of all steps involved in the process. We communicated regularly by text, email and phone and he walked me through every step of the way. He was present when the insurance company sent out their own adjuster to assess the damage and was able to communicate his own findings. After I eventually did get approval for full roof repair, he scheduled the roof repair and was in constant communication letting me know of any potential unforeseen damage that might need to be repaired. He was also successful in getting some of that extra damage covered by insurance after the repair. The work (which involved full roof replacement, replacement of sky lights, and gutters) was high quality - and I still admire the appearance of our roof, which I didn't think I could ever get excited about! Finally, when it came time for payment, Eugene was available in person to help me call the mortgage company to ensure that our insurance checks would be endorsed and processed correctly. He also offered additional 0% financing for some of the additional work that was not covered by insurance. Overall, I have never had such a positive customer experience with ANYONE, like the one I had with Estate Exteriors. Eugene is honest, humble, a great communicator and does high quality work. I was so relieved to have such a burdensome project be made about as easy as possible. I highly recommend this company and recommend without any reservations!"

We picked out the color of roof, provided samples to review for me and my wife. Phil from Titan roofing sent over Joliet code for full replacement to my insurance carrier and they got me my entire roof replaced and gutters.
