The gentlemen were very professional and curious, leaving my fireplace cleaner than when they arrived. The chimney was extremely dirty with soot and they cleaned it out and it now draws better than ever before. They did recommend one fix to the fireplace which we will do if we decide to keep the wood-burning fireplace and not replace it with gas (which we are considering). Someone was at our house within an hour and a half to take a look. They immediately diagnosed the problem as a cracked vent, one of the potential problems they had discussed on the phone, and double checked the attic to make sure there were no more leaks. "Went smoothly. Completely both the skylite and the kitchen fan roof exhaust in 4 hrs. I did not discover any leak after it done. Outside roof appearance is good. Workers are professional and know what is required to complete the job. The kitchen fan roof exhaust is a tricky one and cannot be done with conventional flashing. "I had a very bad experience with a previous contractor who installed my exhaust fan on my roof. When it rained outside, it also rained in my bathroom through the exhaust system, creating ceiling damage in my newly remodeled bathroom!
