We are one of largest specialty flooring stores in Northern California. In business since 1948, S&G is family owned and operated. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and offer 6 month finanacing, OAC.

"We had carpet installed in our house two weeks ago and our experience with S&G was very poor. 1. On the planned installation date, we realized that they had delivered the wrong carpet. Mistakes happen, so it's difficult to get too upset about this. The problem with this is that the communication around the next steps was horrible. The installers left our house without saying anything to us and did not let us know what to expect next. Multiple emails and calls to the Rocklin store went unanswered and their customer service team was unwilling to commit to a rescheduled date for the installation. 2. Because of my frustration, I escalated this to their Director of Customer Service (Robert Jennings) and their VP of Operations (Fernando Jacobo). Crickets. The fact that their senior leadership ignored a request for support to help get updates on the delivery and the rescheduling of the installation speaks volumes to the ineffectiveness of their organization. 3. We finally were able to get the carpet installed after multiple communication failures. The quality of the installation was decent, but there are a few areas that reflected poor workmanship: gaps between the carpet and the new baseboard (that they installed for us), trim pieces on the stairs that were removed after they had been painted and then were reinstalled crooked with no caulking, and small pieces of our old carpet that were not removed (we spent a good hour on all fours to remove the old pieces). This was a very disappointing experience for us and it turned what should have been a one-week project for the painting (other subcontractor) and carpet into a 3-week ordeal."
