"I'll start by saying that Jofmar (Jose and team) delivered well beyond my expectations. I reached out to Jofmar with a few large hardscape projects after long effort to try and find someone that was professional, on time and and cared to do the work. Overall my experience was very pleasant. Victoria graciously helped me with estimates, explained the process well to understand what is involved for each project and then Jose and his team delivered on the product. The first of two projects just finished up -I had stacked stone garden walls built around all my mulched beds. The attention to detail was a delight to see and I can't wait to finally refresh my garden beds. I want to call out that Jose and team really love the work that they do and it shows. They work hard and are easy to talk to throughout projects. They are agile and will work with you if there is a change in scope. I still have a second project waiting on materials and can't wait to see how well they do there as well. Asphalt paving repairs or patches FAQs
With routine maintenance, a new residential asphalt driveway can last 15 to 20 years. In regions with heavy rain or freeze-thaw cycles, plan on extra maintenance to hit the upper end of that range. Concrete surfaces last even longer, from 20 to 25 years. Regular sealing and quick crack repairs go a long way toward preserving both materials.
You can pour new concrete over an existing driveway as long as the base slab is solid. Pros often place a three- to four-inch overlay to create a strong bond. If the old concrete is cracked or spalling badly, it’s wiser to remove it and start fresh to ensure durability.
Keep the surface in top shape by sealing it on schedule and tackling damage right away. Roll on a quality seal coat every three years for asphalt, and reseal concrete as needed while patching any flaws you spot. Staying ahead of small issues prevents bigger, pricier repairs and keeps your driveway looking sharp.
