"It started out so well--the price was reasonable I appreciated the fact that he told me I didn't need a new roof yet (which I expected). Instead, we were able to handle the repairs by replacing some severely leaking gutters. The problem was at installation - the workers were rushed, grim and unresponsive to even a friendly hello. They left nails on the patio and did not replace furniture when they left. AND they left behind a full box of gutter "elbows" which are still sitting in my driveway - months later (I fully expected them to pick them up but not a word). I have very mixed feelings about this franchised business - nice people, good intentions but they need to do some customer service training with their employees and make sure they pick up after themselves and perhaps even crack a smile. We planned to use them again at another house but have decided to find someone else instead."

"I canâ  t say enough about the integrity and accountability of Masters Roofing, led by Jeff Matchen. After a storm a year ago, I called them to check out damage to the roof when I found a shingle on the ground. No, there was no damage from that storm, but they did identify hail damage from an earlier storm. And after showing the damage to my insurance adjuster, they installed a new roof, paid for by insurance. The real story, though, occurred a year later, when we noticed some mold on a closet wall after some heavy rains. Jeff came out and suspected there was an issue where the shingles met a dormer. They promptly re-roofed that area, tore out some custom cabinets in the closet and took care of the damage under the sheetrock. Based on the location of the damage, and looking more closely at the source of the water, they suspected that the failure was not from their roofing work, but due to a problem with the metal roof on the dormer. Despite that suspicion, they continued to honor their original ownership of the problem, including remediating the interior damage, replacing the insulation and sheetrock, repainting and, yes, even paying for the replacement custom cabinets! Needless to say, I was greatly relieved with their decision. Their ownership of the problem and candor throughout this situation was tremendous.
