"Called to arrange for an estimate on removing existing vegetation from front lawn, grading/leveling/installing zoysia sod on entire lawn, reworking irrigation system, removing all vegetation from front flower beds, re-sizing flower beds, and entirely new bushes/shrubs/etc. in front beds. The woman I spoke with was very nice, even congratulated me on the new house, but could not seem to get past the fact that we were using someone else for tree removal and not them. She kept coming back to us losing out on a "package deal" if we had them do the trees too, but I already had a contract signed with a tree provider and as we were removing 14 large trees I wanted a tree specialist to handle it. Once I was clear that we were not using them for trees she kind of lost interest and said she would pass my information along and if the team was interested they would contact me. I never heard from them again. I ended up paying another landscaping company $19,045 for the job... so it was not a small project. Again, she was very nice and polite, there just didn't seem to be much of a sense of urgency and there was no responsiveness beyond the initial call. My advice would be to stay on them to get a call back, or if you are taking trees out make sure you call them first."

"His name is Chris Cordan.  It’s ongoing.  He is here weekly.  We’re in the middle of a move and he has taken really good care of our yards for us for probably, I would say, seven or eight years and made them especially pretty while our home is for sale.  He's good.  It's hard to say about the price.  Reasonably priced, but we have him kinda on a contract.  We replant our yard, probably twice a year, for spring and fall colors and he's just excellent at combining colors and plants.  He's excellent at communicating what he wants to do."

"Mr. Galloway kept in regular contact with me, arrived when he said he would, and did what he said he would.  The work was excellent. He was very pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and professional. He brought in two assistants who did the painting.  Both men were very polite and efficient.  <br /> He matched the out-of-date floor tiles the best he could, purchased all needed paint, grout, wood, etc and brought all his own <br /> tools.  All three men cleaned up after themselves which was greatly appreciated.  <br /> I purchased the Big Deal from Angie?s for 40 hours work.  In addition I paid about $360 for supplies and $2000 for painting the exterior trim and replacing the rotten wood.  I didn?t keep track of the hours the men worked, but with driving and shopping time, I was pretty satisfied that the terms of the deal had been fulfilled.  The original estimate for the trim painting was originally higher but Mr. Galloway worked with me on the price.  The final cost was still more than I wanted, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
