"I found Dick's Carpet Service on Angie's List. He's a one-man shop who's been in the business for many years. After taking a look at the job, he sent us to a showroom in Golden Valley to choose our carpet--eliminating all the sales-pitch/middle-man nonsense--and we took some samples home. When we'd picked what we wanted, he ordered, delivered and installed it. Our basement has several pillars in it so he had a lot of odd cuts to do but they're all perfect. The best part is that a few years after the original install, we ripped out an adjacent bar area and wanted to add carpet in that area. He pulled our records, ordered more carpet and patched it up so well that I'd forgotten we even had it done. He also did the stairs and we're very happy with the whole process.  <br />"

"I cannot say enough good things about Tillers. I was looking for someone to clean my carpets because my senior dog sometimes has accidents and it was starting to really smell. Since my in-laws are coming to visit, I needed it done pretty quickly. I found Tillers here on Angie's List and requested a quote. I received a pretty much immediate response and was asked to call the office with a square footage estimate. I did so and had the most pleasant interchange with Lisa. She was friendly, patient and answered all of my questions. I asked if there was any way that we could have the service done this week and Lisa first said no and then said she might be able to squeeze it in. She called one of her techs to make sure and then called me back to confirm that yes, they could come that very afternoon. I was so pleased. Same-day service? Who does that? Larry was awesome. As Lisa promised, he called me to confirm his ETA and showed up right on time. He was professional, did a good job of explaining what he was going to do, what it would cost, etc. He answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them). And when he actually did the cleaning, he was really thorough. I was so impressed with how carefully he treated our carpets. I have hired lots of other carpet cleaners for my parents and I've never seen a tech who was so meticulous and really seemed to care about getting our carpets clean. He also was a blast to chat with - and he's the master of puns! We had a great little talk as well. The work was exceptional. All of the pet odor is gone, the carpets are super clean and they dried quickly because Larry did such a nice job making sure he didn't just soak the rug for no reason. The cost was extremely reasonable, and they even let me stack the first-time-customer discount with the Angie's List coupon for an even better deal. The Angie's List listing said this is a family-owned business, which is one of the reasons I chose it. But man, is this a case where the difference between family-owned and the big chains is extremely apparent. We will call Tiller's for all of our future carpet cleaning needs."

"This was a great experience from the start! On the phone he gave me the exact information I needed to figure out the cost. In our home , he provided us a lot of good information about the carpet and did an amazing job on the stretching. It is back to looking like newly installed carpet! Pricing was very fair for the work done and he even helped me with the install of a wood floor edge piece that had been broken for a few months. Over and above my expectations. Would definitely recommend and use again."

"Many companies promise more than they can deliver with their names. With Rapid Regrout the opposite is true. This company is about a lot more than careful and quick regrouting although Dan is an expert at that. Dan and his assistant absolutely transformed two large bathrooms. The builder of our house failed to put down a stabilizing surface when installing tile, thus insuring problems later on. The tiles began to loosen in certain spots. Dan removed the old tile and grout, evened the surface and screwed down a stabilizing surface. He advised us about possible tile choices - the pros and drawbacks of each. Once we had the tile, he advised us on a very nice pattern that avoided the traditional grid pattern and we love how it looks. The tile was laid with skill and care and everything is perfect in both bathrooms. Ugly tile "baseboards" were removed and Dan replaced them with prefinished baseboards. This and the cutting of the tile had to be very precise as both bathrooms have two angled walls. Dan also took special care in the regrouting, caulking and sealing of the showers as one had a barely visible crack that allowed water to seep into the wall and then to the other side of the wall. It is such a relief to have that fixed! Dan could see where the problem was coming from. The results are outstanding. I would like to add that Dan and his assistant worked very neatly and always swept, etc. so household disturbance was kept to a minimum. Both gentlemen were very easy to work with and even showed kindness to our cat. We will certainly use Rapid Regrout again. Now that we have such nice bathrooms we know we want to redo our sun porch and entry."

"Beautifully. They came out to take measurements when it was convenient for the owner and myself, the buyer of the condo. They clarified what it was I wanted: closets carpeted? ; the color of the metals?; and if I wanted take up and haul away of old carpet. They were willing to wait about a month later to install it as I closed on the condo January 12 and they took measurements before Christmas. They installed it Friday, the day after Peter Galles Painters (found him on Angie's list too) finished. They recommended a great carpet and pad and the price was very good. I also bought two area rugs that are of great quality and are quite beautiful. I especially enjoy my cute ladybug rug. They even sent the area rugs along with the carpet layers. The carpet layers worked steadily and were friendly and did a great job. I am very pleased with my experience with Seestedt's carpeting."
