"Well pump went out on Friday evening with no water being drawn from the private well. Called three other local well repair shops on Saturday and got phone messages and no call backs. Sunday, in desperation I called a Well Pump Guy and the phone was answered by a real person. Kurt called me back within 15 minutes and had me try a few things over the phone. Even though my location is well over an hours drive, Kurt loaded up his rig and came to make the repair. Kurt, was very professional and diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 15 minutes. What I thought was going to be an expensive well pump replacement became a control box repair. Could not be happier! Great service!"

"Our gutters overall are in good shape but one gutter downspout on our home was in a bad location where there was not enough space for the water to flow away from the foundation. I hired gutter systems to correct this issue. Bruce was very responsive and communicated well throughout. Other companies that I spoke to were uninterested in a small job and apparently would only want to  bid for replacing all the gutters, which was completely unnecessary. Bruce's solution was similar to what I was thinking, which was to seal off the downspout at the roof level and re-pitch the gutter to direct water to a different downspout. So I hired him and after a couple of rainy days this seems to have worked well to get the water flowing away from the foundation. If I do need more gutter work done in the future my first call will be to Gutter Systems. <br />"

"We have the house on the market; noticed leaking from the base of the HWH last night, so we called this morning.  They offered today or tomorrow to do the repair - we chose today.  They were here on time, did a great job in a very efficient manner and hauled away the old one all about an hour. <br />"

"Ordered the health scan report to get a comprehensive analysis of our water beyond the suspected problem of bacteria. The sample kit arrived within a couple days. The results took about a week and a half. The results even identified the species bacteria and yeasts and included information on each."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Menomonie, WI

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
