"In 2005 we met John Butler and found him to be great. Our plan was to have contractor to do a gutting of our home and do most work, but electrical and painting would be done by ourselves. "I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"The owner, David Gurwell, took time to listen to my explanation of the problems, offered alternative solutions if I did not want to use his company and was as helpful as could be. Due to that, I opted to have him do an estimate for me and decided to go with his company. His staff was on time, hard working and competent.  They went out of their way not to track dirt into the house and to clean up after themselves every day.  They were cheerful, courteous and a pleasure to have around.  They did a beautiful job and so impressed my son that he plans to have them redo one of his bathrooms.
