"As an association board member, I was looking for a licensed and insured handyman, who would be available when we needed repairs for our 4 floor, 30-unit building. They needed to be responsible and experienced in a multitude of jobs. I also needed someone who would also be available for a unit owner if needed. I got calls asking what I needed to fix and what I wanted to pay but no one would come out to SEE what needed to be done. Roger Camacho of The Grove Handyman called me and came over to look over our building. He handed me copies of his certification and insurance then sent me a quote. He did his first job; replacing over 125 lightbulbs in the building, including the garage. He cleaned each fixture, fixed what needed fixing and replaced each bulb. Everyone noticed the difference! He was persistent in resolving a leaky window that flooded a unit. Not a drop through the rainy season. Roger communicates well and responds to calls. He is responsible, honest and a talented person when it comes to resolving problems. He redid my master bath, took out the old whirlpool tub, removed the old tile floor and replaced all the wallboard. From electrical to plumbing to retiling the tub area and the floor, I am in love with my new bathroom. I cannot express the trust and respect I have for his character and integrity. I will never hesitate to recommend Roger to anyone."

"I purchased a Pfister faucet that was faulty.  David brought it back to Home Depot for me, the 2nd one was faulty. By the 3rd time I said let's go together and I will get a Kohler.  Well the 3rd time was not the charm as the Kohler faucet was missing a piece.  
David told me he would not charge me extra even though this was a Sunday and he was willing to go to another city to pick up the same Kohler faucet from another Home Depot.
Told him, don't worry. I will order another one online and will rebook some more time to install the faucet and do some additional things around my house.

"he was very professional.  evaluated all three things and these were out of his scope...they were the usual in door services that most people use handymen for but i figured i would try.  i appreciated his honesty and his time (at no charge) and for one of the repairs, he even gave me the name and number to a friend who is now willing to help us...overall, i would definitely use him for future necessities.  he is very busy and i know he was booked far in advanced but he was also very honest about that and since i didn't need anything urgently done, i was happy to wait based on his reviews.
