Robert is consummate professional - paying close attention to details, concerns & hands on examination of roof. I was impressed w/ his questions re. History of roof repairs & past issues taking in whole picture of status of roof. As long time home owners of older homes we realize the value of maintenance for prevention & repairs as needed for long term stability of a home as well as lowering risk for problems later on . That said - there have been many occasions where a contractor cut corners or didn't relate essential info only to have problems down the road . Most appreciative Robert noted we had no drip edges on garage ( no wonder we had recent wood damage / rot after last roofers work) and suggested installment. He also problem solved how our painters could get up to 3 rd level dormer assuring their & the roof tile safety. Robert coordinated timing for painter wallboard & repairs right away & he & his 2 workers had all work completed exactly as scheduled . He uses quality Owens Corning architectural shingles and other materials are upgrades as well. There are no short cuts. The roofers replaced certain sections of wood that were improperly nailed by the prior company. Our roof is solid and aesthetically pleasing - a real improvement to the overall curb appeal of the house. Besides the quality work Fred’s company provides, expect some excellent customer service. Fred called us multiple times - to update on orders, schedules, arrival times, etc. He picks up the phone or shortly calls back. That’s comforting when you have engaged a company for a big ticket project. He made good on every single thing we discussed. The clean up was amazing with landscaping and lawn protected by tarps. The men use a “magnet on a pole” to pick up stray nails on the ground. I highly endorse Preferred Roofing for a worry free roofing project."

All appointments were on time, or if they needed to be changed, we received a phone call. The roof was installed the day of the appointment and in less than 1 day, quicker than expected. The workers were friendly and efficient. They brought a dumpster, and all old roofing material was removed. We have extensive landscaping around the house and asked that the workers would be careful when removing the old roof. There was no damage to the plantings.
