"Overhead Door immediately set me up for an appointment within 48 hours of my call to replace my opener which included the total price of product, taxes and installation. Shannon, the technician, not only arrived early for the appointment (he called ahead), but was proficient and courteous. It was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing! The repairman was there for about 7 minutes, charged $150.00 to say the opener is old and I should keep it until it stops working completely. Their labor rate must be between $900 -1000.00 per hour Then gave a $674.00 quote for a new opener and asked if I wanted to replace the opener. As he did not actually do any kind of service or repair, what was I charged $150.00 for? Obviously, I will not be using this company again as they lack ethics and integrity. Garage door openers are about $140.00 - 175.00 at most hardware stores. Why would I pay this company almost $700.00?"
