"I've worked with Start To Finish on several projects and they are great to work with. They do a great job, providing cost effective options, talking about different ways to approach the project and what the pros and cons are, so as a consumer who doesn't do these kinds of things very often I still feel like I can make an informed decision. The project went according to plan, and as always Jeff and team followed up to make sure everything was just right."

"First of July, I signed a contract and sent in a check for $1793.00 to Yard Expressions. I spoke to him a week later and he said the work would start the first week of August. He said he would send back the contract with his signature, and then we did not here back from him. I tried contacting him via phone and email. I never got a response so my husband tried contacting him and found his ex business partners phone number. The Ex business partner let my husband know he passed away. I am just looking for a refund of what I have already sent him.

"

George was willing to work with the ideas that I had for building the fire pit and patio.  He was very responsive during the project when I would stop him and ask questions, or suggest a different way to do the layout and design.  The patio and fire pit turned out nicely.  On the lawn work - seeding, mulching, leveling - I felt that George was trying to get done and get to another job, and maybe didn't spend as much time and care as I would have liked.  If you hire him for a job, be aware that he is pretty much a one man show, and is sometimes slow to respond to emails and calls, and can get behind schedule quickly when the weather is bad.

"Bill came out and gave us a comprehensive quote on what we wanted done. They arrived on the scheduled day. The work was done beautifully and with care. We put in sod and the installation was beautiful with edged and rounded corners. The mulch installation was done perfectly, and we also had stone put in places instead of mulch. It was a 3 day project and I am thrilled with the work and professionalism. We highly recommend them."

"The owner Austin and his son Mike did an outstanding job from start to finish. The quality of their work and short time it took them to build our room was impressive. Austin is a stickler for meticulous detail. You couldn't ask for a more easy going couple of guys as Austin and Mike. We are thrilled with our new sunroom."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Middletown, IN

Installing interlocking pavers takes between four and 10 days, depending on the project's size and complexity. The process involves careful excavation, precise leveling, and building a stable base before placing the pavers. Larger projects or challenging site conditions may require more time to ensure a durable and attractive result that stands the test of time.

It's not recommended to place pavers directly on dirt. For the best results, you'll need to lay a foundation of gravel or sand to create a leveled and compacted base. This ensures proper drainage below the pavers, preventing erosion and shifting over time. An uneven or unstable base can cause the pavers to move or settle improperly, affecting the appearance and longevity of your installation.

Installing interlocking pavers yourself involves rigorous preparation and careful execution. This DIY approach requires excavation, precise leveling, and building a proper base using gravel or sand to ensure stability. The project demands at least two to three full days of intensive manual work and the use of specialized tools. Alternatively, hire a paver installer for professional results.

Concrete stone and clay brick pavers are the top choices for homeowners. They offer robust performance and an attractive finish that elevates outdoor living areas. These materials are engineered for superior durability and design flexibility, ensuring long-term strength and style. Selecting the right paver type maximizes the overall appeal and functionality of your space while meeting all design and performance standards.
