"Absolutely phenomenal work. We had old faucets that were chipping brass plating that we wanted to match with our new bathroom faucets (brushed nickel). We finally found Empire Metal Finishing Inc in Astoria New York. We couldn't believe it when we got them back as if brand new and in the highest quality. Their work is so professional they made a guest appearance on Martha Stewart's show. It's not cheap but if you want to refinish old stuff that could be discontinued product and not replaceable this is definitely the place to go. "They did a pretty good job although you can still see where the plate was broken. I thought the price was exceedingly high for the services rendered. It also took longer to do than expected.     <br /> <br />Having said that, if I hadn't found Hess on Angie's List, I have no idea where I could have brought this item to be fixed. They did a decent job and they might have been busy (in terms of how long it took).
