"American Custom Contractors did an outstanding job replacing the roof, woodwork, trim, and gutters on our historic 1910 home. The ACC work crews, including carpenters, roofers, and gutter specialists, were highly skilled and experienced. Yanni Agouridis, our project consultant, was extremely helpful in working out the details of the engagement at the outset. Blase Skully, project supervisor and quality assurance manager, was always available to answer many questions and provide advice as we refined the scope of work and the project progressed. He made sure they delivered exactly what we were seeking to accomplish. Blase was also sensitive to ensuring that the historic look of the house was maintained and enhanced by the materials they used and the work they did. The result is beautiful. We get many complements on our new roof and gutters. We highly recommend American Custom Contractors."

"Terry Jenkins and his crew (Ron & Dru) were professional, knowledgeable, organized, and were great at communicating what they were doing and answering/addressing any questions or concerns I had along the way. When an unexpected issue appeared (floor rotted beyond the doors they were replacing), they were more than willing and capable of repairing that too...all in the total time they estimated. Couldn’t be more pleased."

"Appointment was made easily online. Danny called to arrive at an earlier time. He was punctual, professional, and did an amazing job removing and replacing a kitchen lighting fixture. We are so thankful for Danny and his great work. We will call again if future repairs are needed. Thank you!"

"I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"To begin with, John and Darrell showed up when they said they were going to show up--all three times! That itself is very telling, at least around here. Then, they were courteous gentlemen, cordial and friendly, and even like dogs and cats! When they installed the cement slab, the weather was very cold, but they waited and baby sat the cement so it could cure properly. They came back after dark to check it and spread straw. They had given us an estimate of, I think, $225, but they charged only $200. The second occasion, they repaired the hole in the wall, installed new tiles to replace the ones that had broken and installed a heavy duty grab bar, the price of which, as well as the price of the tiles, was included in their fee. While they were there, they installed a faucet and repaired two leaking faucets. That was all for the same $260 price. Today, the third occasion, they came and installed a water line for a new fridge and an outdoor hose bib. Again, it was very cold and snowy outdoors, but that did not seem to bother them. They checked the water lines thoroughly and, after finding a tiny leak, fixed that and checked again until everything was perfect. They also gave me, at my request, a lesson in using a stud finder as I am putting up some shelves on my own. They are so kind! They are very pleasant to have around but they keep working are very conscientious about doing jobs right. (They list ceramic tile, carpentry, masonry work, block laying, and concrete finishing on their business card, but they told me they do about anything. They are much more than "handymen," but they are the only folks that we have found that are willling to do some smaller jobs such as we have and really do them well.)"
