"Jeff was very professional, responsive, and interested in my business. They actually made several trips to my home to provide a detailed estimate. Jeff went above and beyond with his estimate (even though I modified the requirements slightly after our first conversation). While they were just slightly more expensive than the concrete service company I selected, I really made my decision based on volumes of pre-exiting ratings. Since Universal Concrete is "fairly" new , they didn't have as many reviews as most other companies (I am providing this review to assist with this). Everything else was almost equal. Would highly recommend!"

"Jerry Dunlap provided a printed quotation for the work within 30 minutes after measuring and assessing the work to be done. Mr. Dunlap made some excellent suggestions to improve the project. The price was comparable to other quotations, but was much more detailed about the scope of work. He and his crew arrived on time to perform the work. All concrete removal, grading, and formwork was complete in the first day. The concrete was placed the second day. To avoid damage to the existing driveway, all trucks remained on the street. Old concrete was removed with a Bobcat and fresh concrete was hauled in with a small self-powered machine. The quality of the work is excellent. Rebar ties to the old concrete, rebar reinforcement at the new curb, beautiful finish. The crew was respectful of the property and properly cleaned the area of food wrappers, etc. I highly recommend this company."

"Job: Grade and slope backyard with new lawn. Remove old patio slab and install new concrete patio. Isaac was very professional in our chats and in person meetings. The work was started quickly and completed in a good time frame. The final product was not what we had hoped for or discussed with Issac. The edge of the patio was left exposed and was supposed to be graded to match the lawn. The yard was not cleaned of the stones or the leftover concrete that was in the yard. My husband did discuss this with Issac and he came back and worked for a bit to pick up rocks by hand. This was not sufficient and there are still many stones and concrete in the yard, the grass has not been able to grow in the areas that are littered with stones and concrete. You can see the grass has grown in other areas of the yard but not where the stones were left. This was by no means the end result we had envisioned. The pictures speak for themselves."
