Our home grown company The Contractors Inc. has over 25 years of experience in the craft of kitchen and bathroom cabinet refacing. Cabinet refacing involves replacing cabinets doors, drawer fronts, and molding with a wood or MDF and covering the remaining frames in a matching material in order to give the appearance of a new cabinet. We do NOT perform painting or re-staining, and we can only repair cabinets in the process of a larger refacing project. "This dude shows up on time, 5/5 on that. Leaves 10 minutes later without saying a word. I message him 3 hours later asking if we were still doing the job. 2 hours after that he messaged back saying he had his helpers cancel and we need to reschedule. I ask when he's thinking we can get it done. 3 days later I haven't heard back. I open a new project on Angi, and re-select this same guy by mistake. He replies promptly, gets all the details, and then once he gets my email no further contact. It feels like there's something personal here, or maybe he quoted too low for the project, but in any case I literally cannot imagine a less professional way of handling this whole situation. My guess is that he showed up to the job to scope it out, then went to find a couple day laborers to actually do the work. Maybe he couldn't find any, maybe he realized that this job was too big. In either case, just say so. Jesus."

"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"
