"Changed our 1960 kitchen and made it look like a kitchen built in 2020. It really exceeded our expectations. We refaced our kitchen in order to sell our house next year. We will have no problem selling this house. We were home the entire time our installer worked on the kitchen. The guy worked hard and he did a great job. I consider myself handy, but I wouldn't taken this project on. Glad we didn't decide to paint. Everyone that sees our kitchen loves it, For reasons I can't explain, they think the kitchen is larger. That is okay with us. If you are okay with your kitchen's layout and the cabinet frames are okay, then this is the way to go."

"I like the look of the cabinets, floor and countertop. The computer generated plans the designer provides mean nothing - when I pointed out that the cabinet on one wall was 15 1/2 inches short, I was told that the original project manager had trouble measuring and I would have to pay for a change order to get it right (I should have been provided a schematic with measurements and I and not provided with this). A few days later, the whole project was put on hold for five weeks because the piece around the refrigerator was mismeasured. I asked that someone remeasure other areas because it looked like there was not enough room for the refrigerator - no one came out and that wall has the crown molding jutting out 1 inch. The people delivering the countertop said sink was too heavy for the promised undermount - they asked me what to do. The crown molding was originally installed 1 1/2 inch form the ceiling - the project manager would not fix until I brought out management from NV Kitchens. The slide out shelves on the lower cabinets was part of the design and verified by the designer. I could not get them installed until I withheld third payment. A project estimated to take 3 weeks has taken 12 weeks (and damage to the adjoining room floors has still not been fixed). Be aware that you have no one to advocate for you on the project - you are on your own. Update as of 11/29/2022 This is an addition to a prior review. The grout started crumbling after 6 weeks and a tile has cracked. The contractor will not come out because he did not like my original review - so it seems a bad review voids the warranty. The contractor's response to lack of warranty was "I was wondering if you could give us a better review, I saw that you gave us only 2 stars. I would really appreciate it if you could give us a better review if possible. I know that the designer made some mistakes but I tried to do my best to make you happy with the way that we managed the project and the quality of your work." My response to the contractor --The two stars reflects NV Kitchen making no effort to remedy the wrong size cabinets (smaller less expensive) or the wrong sink installation (not an under mount). The company should have made an effort to work with you to make it right. Update as of 12/7/2022 Entire kitchen remodel. This is an update to original review. The contractor tried to do good work but NV Kitchen substituted smaller cheaper cabinets and cheaper sink installation and would not correct. Review Text: The contractor corrected the crumbling grout and cracked tiles. The company substituted smaller cheaper cabinets and cheaper sink mount and would not change or correct."

"Great! Had a great selection of tile, cabinetry, etc. to choose from in their showroom. The guys in my home were polite and hard working. Done in 3 weeks, just as stated in our contract. This is the 2nd bathroom renovation KBR has done for us. Would hire again!"

"Great! He arrived on time, with the right amount of crew, tools and positive attitude! He was very experienced with Ikea cabinets and knew when we had purchased the wrong items. He also knew when to send me back to Ikea for different parts. Ikea made alot of mistakes and he knew that was common. He wrote down the numbers of the items i needed which was extremely helpful. He and his crew were fantastic and i would hire him again in the future. His prices were very reasonable and i appreciated that. I had two glass doors that were on back order so he said i could hold back $200 from his pay until they czme in. I called him on Sunday and told him i just picked them up. He told me they would be there on Monday morning to finish the job. Of course he arrived on time and he finished the job quickly. Of the 4 companies i hired to do various things in my kitchen his was the only one i didnt have issues with. I asked him to install the lights inside and underneath the cabinets and install the microwave. The lights were difficult but he worked hard until they were done. They make the whole kitchen shine! He was extremely reasonable with the microwave installation price. I asked him for several cards and already passed them out to people that wanted a new kitchen i told them he is the best installer i ever hired. He made this overwhelming project so much easier."

"We had a great experience with Granite Works. We contracted our countertop work on July 28th. We feel very fortunate to have met Art. He is very professional and not a high pressure sales person.  He was more of a designer and he took us out to the slab yard helping us find slabs that matched our kitchen design and equally important budget.. We were able to use their sample cabinet materials and coordinate them with the slabs, colors, movement and patterns.  He advised us on the best cuts, edgings, care, etc. Once we selected the granite within a few minutes, Art presented us with an estimate on the spot.  We placed a 50% deposit and the next day the office assistance called us to schedule our on site template. The template process was easy and thorough. It is very helpful if you take your kitchen photos with you and your detailed measurements.  That way your estimate is accurate and Art can help you with balancing movement, appropriate area for seams, if any.  Granite works provided the granite, onsite measurements, sink options, bull nose edging and included all cut outs, plus an Angie's List discount. Our price was $2500 less than a company in  the Mt. Airy. Within a week we had a template completed, in two weeks the fabrication of 2 slabs, and the installation of occurred on  August 9th. In 1 day! We elected to forego their 4" backsplash option and we designed and installed our own. Art's design consultation was very helpful.  After we finished 1/2 the backsplash we sent Art a thank you email with a photo.  He was so surprised and we were surprised and happy 1) he remembered us, and 2) he liked our natural stone tile work.  We recommend Granite Works for quality, professionalism and price.  Good luck and thanks Angie's List. He was at the house when the cabinets were being delivered and stopped in during installation. If you have concerns or aren't entirely happy with something he will make it right as quickly as possible. We have worked with a number of contractors and no one has come close to his level of customer service. He even brought us a bottle of wine and cheese when it was finished:)"
