"The contractors were courteous and thorough. They purchased the materials and repaired the concrete and the wooden garage door frame. They also repaired my garage door which was not in our agreement. I would like to pay them for repairing it. I would recommend this company and would like to hire them in the future. Thank you for the recommendation."

"Sammson Concrete did an excellent job. My village is particularly difficult with concrete code and has some laws that I don't necessarily agree with with regards to reinforcement of concrete. Throughout the process I always felt like Sammson concrete had my best interest in mind, and went out of their way to ensure the best job possible would be performed. The driveway and garage came out looking great, and I think with a lesser company I may not have had such an easy time getting quality work done."

"Job was done well, and everything was clean when they were done. This is the 2nd time I have used Lincoln and I would use them again."

"This is difficult as 2 companies became involved and I give different ratings for each.
They were prompt and work was I postponed for the remaining two.  However, when I called back a year or so later to schedule, was told that the firm had been taken over by American Crawlspace, Orland Park.  They filled the 2 recommended at much higher price, as well as a 3rd which has not held up.   Did not return my call at first - eventually came back and offered to do more work at additional $800.  Did not guarantee previous work and offered no guarantee for any subsequent work.  I do not think they have a clue what the underlying problem may be.  They promised to follow up but have not.  I was satisfied with original company but would not recommend American Crawlpace

"We had water in the basement, seeping in from the floor. They dug  a trench to the sump pump, removed the standing water that had not been allowed to drain properly in the most efficient way, and replaced the inadequate sump pump with one that will do the job correctly. They brought enough of a crew to complete the job in half a day which we also appreciated.  They also filled a few cracks in the foundation walls to prevent any future leaks. We had worked with them before and knew that they were an honest and reputable firm."

"They very not very punctual. Had to reschedule twice. Also, if I had not been home, they would not have cleaned some of the maple tree seeds from the front yard. I had to make them do that. They were in a rush to complete the work.
The only reason I can think of is because I was doing a one time clean up instead of a monthly service. I still have some of the grass in between the concrete slabs which they did not remove.

"I texted Sam on Thursday before Memorial Day weekend and he came over on Monday morning. Note, this was not an emergency, or he would have come over the weekend. Sam stayed most of the day until everything worked perfectly - from routing drains to replacing shower faucet parts - including the cartridge. He worked and I ran to get any parts we needed from Home Depot (I like doing this because it keeps costs down and I was around anyway).

Urban Construction does great work and is reasonably priced for the level of honesty and expertise. I have used Sam so many times, I really need to be more diligent about reviews. I recommended him for an emergency job for my brother in law - leaking hot water heater that needed immediate replacement - one or two text message exchanges and Sam had it handled."
