"The chimney flue was repaired and the chimney inspected in July. I had then come back the end of August to replace the cement chimney crown, tuck point the chimney above the roof line and install a flue damper cap."

"I had Best Chimeny out for a repair estimate. I had been quoted a lot of money from a different company and wanted a second opinion. My understanding from my initial home inspection led me to believe the first estimate was off. Best came out and completed an inspection. I was informed that it was a few simple repairs that would be needed and the price was about $1500 cheaper than the other company that want me to put in a whole new fire box and chimney stack.
I have not contracted the work out yet but the inspector was professional and nice. I will surly use them when I am ready for the work to be done.
"

"They did a very nice job. My fireplace looked like new. I had some trouble with the pilot light and now it works really well. They were very prompt. I have had them out since then to replace a chimney cap. I will use them again."

"Craig was very professional from start to finish. We have a gas fireplace that we haven't used since we purchased our home almost 5 years ago. We called Craig and made an appointment to come give us and estimate. He not only gave us an estimate but he gave us a lot of good suggestions on how to make the fireplace look good. So agreed to have him do the work. Craig came back after 2 weeks and did the following work.
1. He painted the inside of our fireplace black so when the new fireplace doors are installed it will look like a tv screen and it
made it look darker and nicer.
2. He removed some of our ceramic logs and replaced them with better ones he had at his shop at no charge.
3. He cleaned all the junk stuff that had fallen into our fireplace.
4. He added new pebbles/fireplace dirt
5. He rearranged everything that made the fireplace flame look bigger and brighter.
6. He purchased a door for us that we selected from the brochures he should us at the time he did the estimate. He installed the
door and showed us how to use it.
7. He replaced our chimney cap with the new one he purchased for us.
He also some a few issues with my chimney that he mentioned he could fix down the road which we appreciated him telling us.
From start to finish it was a great experience to deal with Craig. Would use him again.

"

"The old fireplace was rusted and had to be replaced together with the flue and the covers at the top of the chimney. The project was done on time and at the cost within the limits quoted initially. There were no cost surprises at the end of the project. They also work with a credit company that can finance the project for a good deal (no interest for 18 months at that time). The team was professional and they finished the work on time (the actual work took about two days). The cost was maybe a bit more pricey than the average, but the job was well done and without extra costs or surprises at the end."

"I am a woodworker myself, but decided to hire the job out due to lack of time to do it myself. So I called Tom based on reviews here. He's very pleasant, communicates well, and does quality work. Before the job, he pointed out a couple areas where the joints might not turn out perfect (e.g. curved corners). All I can say is that Tom is fussier than I am, and the results were better than I had expected, even in the tough areas.
My only complaint is that he underestimated the duration of the installation. He originally told me 3-4 hours total, but it turned into 10 hours spanning 2 days. Nevertheless, he completed the work on back-to-back days and didn't leave me hanging until he could find time to finish up.
I would definitely hire him again.

"
