"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars Review for Vasquez Waterproofing Vasquez Waterproofing did an outstanding job installing a French drain in both my front and back yards, and they also tackled some pretty extensive water damage around my front bay window. Not only was the quality of work excellent, but the entire project was completed in just two days — super efficient. Big shoutout to Jack for his excellent communication throughout the process. Everything was explained clearly, timelines were kept, and the worksite was left clean. I’d absolutely recommend Vasquez Waterproofing for any drainage or water damage projects. In fact, I’m already in talks with them about another job. Solid team, great results."

Small jobs welcome

I have been pouring concrete for the last 20 years. I pour flat work concrete like driveways, patios, sidewalks and porches etc. I owned and operated a concrete business in Florida for about 5 years and ran a business in Michigan the last 6 years. Just moved to Georgia and trying to get going again. I am a quality reliable contractor

"I really wanted to have a good review for BDry. The original salesperson was very friendly and helpful, and the team who came out was very respectful and really worked hard. And for starters, the system was finally installed, and my basement is waterproofed. That being said, I will not be recommending them to others. A one day job turned into 3 drawn out weeks between scheduling BDry to come out a second and third time to finish the "one day" job and to repair mistakes and then also having to reschedule our very busy contractor multiple times to work around BDry's schedule. This resulted in several days without pay for my wife and several wasted personal days that I had to take off from teaching. All told, they did not even fix everything when they came out to do repairs as the onsite worker had told me they would. They had ripped up some of our epoxied basement floor with tape (accidentally), but then when I spoke with a representative about it, they essentially said that they didn't deal with small things like that and that it was my problem. Fortunately, we had just had the epoxy done the past year so we could still find it in store. Unfortunately, the stuff only comes in a $117 container. The biggest issues came with the original salesman giving us certain specifications that we had to have met with demo work before they could come and install the system. Those were communicated to our contractor: "Cut the studs one foot up from the wall". We made sure this happened. When they arrived, they said it had to be demo-ed even further and were going to charge me a fee for it, even though we had demo-ed the way they told us. That was sorted out, and we weren't charged the fee. However, they then proceeded to cut halfway up our walls, mutilating the studs and the drywall above it with the precision of elephants. This translated to a lot of extra labor and a bit more in material costs for our contractor. Our contractor then helped put together an estimate for how much more BDry directly cost us, and it amounted to $400. $400 was a good bit more for us to be paying right now, but I thought it would be no problem at all to get BDry to cover that for us, especially since we weren't even factoring in all of my wife's lost wages. They were resolute in not giving me any discount, insisting that I should be satisfied with them "Not charging me the $300 demo fee", which is irrelevant since it was their mistake that they had to demo more in the first place. Overall, while I am very relieved that the basement is finally finished, I am exhausted from this process dragging on and am very displeased with the company's lack of consideration for our time or the extra money they cost us. I will not be considering them in the future, and I will be warning as many others away from them as possible."

"Roots from a large tree had damaged a brick wall, a concrete pad, and the corner of a hangar. Pete surveyed the project and provided counsel on how to proceed. We chose to reconfigure the wall and save the tree. Pete's part of the project was to replace the brick wall. The wall is beautiful - better and stronger than the original. Pete is a consummate craftsman with a driving work ethic. We are happy to know him."

"It is guaranteed for the life of the home. They gave us it in writing. They were out there for 3 and a half days. They left everything pristine from the day they were there, they cleaned everyday. They were very nice to work with, there for a long time and the staff was just wonderful to work with us. They made a scar situation easier to deal with.  They were more expensive then some other quotes, but no one else had the lifetime guarantee and no one else was providing a life time solution. They were the best solution for our problem.  They were early every day, wonderful. They did not want to use our baseball chairs because they did not want to get them dirty and so they sat on the concrete floor, I was like not they can be cleaned off. They are awesome. Highly recommended. You can trust them and I recommended them to friends and family in this area. I would absolutely trust them with my family home.  We have some other stuff we want done and talked to them about it."

"<p>Arrived on time and went right to work.</p> <p>The Hydraulic lifting system equipment that raised the piers failed from an electrical problem. They couldn't get it working so went to the home depot and bought some bottle jacks to complete the lifting.</p> <p>The hydraulic lifting went really will. A two part epoxy mix was used and pumped under the slab to level it. This took special equipment. They were able to control the left and get the slab lifted to close up the gaps that were along the base of the walls in 3 bedroom on the far end of the house.</p> <p>After they completed the toilet was not flushing, it turned out this was from the all day rain we had. When I talked about it with the owner, and I asked if the insurance would cover repairing the drain problem if it was the result of the lifting (insurance I paid an additional $100 for) the owner explained the insurance only covers if they drill through a pipe it does not cover damage caused from lifting the slab or incidental damage from the hydraulic material pumped under the slab. This is something the salesman said would cover any damage. It doesn't.</p> <p>Overall the service was a very good value (compared to other quotes I had, which were double). The customer service was very good. Their equipment broke down in the middle of the project but they still came up with a solution to complete the work.</p>"

"I noticed a crack that started in my living room and continued into one of the bedrooms. The bedroom floor was sinking away from the wall. I did research and found Poly Lift USA. I contacted the office and spoke with the receptionist. She was very polite and was able to answer a few questions I had. She scheduled me for an estimate that very week. The manager came out and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time and answered all of the questions I had. I received the estimate later that day via email and was able to accept it on the spot. The next day, I received a call from their office to schedule my project the following week as well as an email reminder. Their crew arrived on time and started to work almost immediately. They explained the process as they worked and allowed us to watch. They drilled small holes throughout the home and then injected the polyurethane. Once they were done, they filled the holes with a sanded concrete and cleaned up the minimal mess that was made. It was done in less than a day. I would highly recommend PolyLift USA to anyone that is need of this repair. They did an amazing job! Thank you Poly Lift!"

FAQs for concrete foundation repair projects in Milledgeville, GA

Visible cracks, water leaks, uneven floors, or walls that won’t line up are classic red flags. You might also notice sticking windows, doors that no longer latch, or exterior cracks crawling up brick or siding. Even a damp, musty basement can hint at trouble. If you spot any of these, call a foundation pro right away. Early inspections cost far less than waiting until the damage threatens your home’s stability.

Yes, foundation problems impact your home’s value. Buyers want proof that the foundation is stable, and a recent, professional repair can actually boost confidence in your home. You’ll need to disclose the work, but documentation showing the structure was properly stabilized, especially with piers in regions known for shifting soil, often reads as a plus, not a problem. Skipping repairs, on the other hand, can cut your sale price and shrink the pool of interested buyers. Taking care of the issue protects both value and peace of mind.

Foundations are engineered for exceptional longevity when constructed correctly and maintained diligently. Concrete slab foundations remain structurally sound for 200 years, while other foundation types deliver integrity between 75 and 100 years. Regular professional inspections and timely maintenance further secure a foundation’s lifespan and ensure your home stays safe over the long term.
