He inspected the area, asked for my input, made reasonable suggestions for the repairs and said he’d work up a price. The e-mail arrived on schedule with a detailed listing of the work to be done and the costs. Also included were a copies of his business license, a certificate of insurance and references. I was able to sign digitally and we set a date for the work to be done. Trent arrived, did the complete job and the place looks great. "At first, I was a bit concerned, ESOG put two appointments for two different estimators on their calendar.  And they had the address incorrect, so that the estimator called at the appointment time from a location in a commericial area about 5 miles from my home. <br /> Todd (estimator) and Jason (installer) were great.  <br /> When Todd arrived we looked at my concerns, and walked the perimeter of my home.   Todd pointed out things that were/were not issues for my 25 year old home.  He went into the crawl space and then we looked at his findings.   ESOGs identified an issue near my hearth that other did not.  He emailed me the quote, and their price was great. <br /> We anticipated a one-day job, and we were able to get the initial work done within one week when one of their other jobs was completed quicker than anticipated.  Unfortunately, our framing is non-standard.  The girder that was sagging was about 2 feet from our load bearing wall and we did not get the improvement we had hoped for.    None of our estimates picked up that our load bearing wall was not on top of the girder. <br /> ESOG proposed additional supports, and a beam under the load bearing wall.  We accepted their proposal and Jason returned in less than one week.  The final cost was still  less than the initial proposal by their competitors. <br />   <br /> The outcome:  Our floor is more level, and has less bounce.  Great job! <br /> <br /> <br />"

"It didn't go because I was unsure about timing and our plans. Since our plans are so unsettled at this time, I couldn't make definite plans about anything. It seems like our plans and needs change daily. We are talking about a third person moving in with us, he has pets, we are looking at moving to another home in the area, or out of the area, a town away from here or just staying put. Our indecision is not fair to a potential house keeper so we are just putting the project on hold till we have some answers. I appreciated her prompt response and reply to my inquiry.
