After the roof was finished two other teams came in to replace all of the siding and rebuild the front portico and side deck and also add a deck extension. "The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house."

They also touched up other trim work around the house and painted everything to match my existing trim. They really did a great job. "I recently hired Coen Brothers Construction on a thorough bathroom renovation, and the outcome was outstanding. Their quality was excellent, and I am delighted with the final result. Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. Coen Brothers Construction also expertly handled all necessary permits and inspections, keeping me informed every step of the way. "A representative from the company came out promptly to survey the job bringing a very comprehensive brochure describing all aspect of the work including shingle options, ice dam prevention, ventilation and under-shingle materials. I was provided with an estimate promptly that was very competitive. All follow up emails and calls were answered immediately. The new roof looks great and the property was cleaned completely. A representative from Evans came out the next day to meet us in person to make sure we had no questions or issues. "I own some rental property that I don't live in and I contacted Rich to come out because the roof on a small addition was leaking. He came out pretty quickly, I did not have to be present which is always nice because it's difficult for me to get out there during the week. The day after Rich came out I had the quote for the roof replacement in my email. The cost was on the lower side of three quotes I had for the job. I contacted Rich to tell him I liked the proposal and to schedule the job, they came out a week and a half later and replaced the roof. It looks good and no longer leaks! One of the reason's I was so impressed with this company is that when I received the proposal to repair the roof it noted that some of the plywood was rotted and may need to be replaced,it gave a price to have all the roof decking done. When the crew was at the property they did find that several of the plywood sheets needed to be replaced. The crew took the time to photograph the rotted wood so that I knew and could see they were damage and they weren't trying to inflate the price. That kind of attention to detail is why I recommend this company and will use them again."
