"We negotiated this job in Feb or March of this year and scheduled it to start on June 26. John and his partner showed up in the early am. They carefully trimmed a Crape Myrtle and assembled a 3-story scaffold up to the peak of the roof and a work platform around the chimney. Then, his partner disassembled and lowered the remnants of the old chimney, bucket by bucket, to John, who cleaned any of the old bricks that could be reused. It was still before lunch when they reversed this process, with John filling buckets with bricks, and then mixing buckets of mortar to send up the scaffold. It was still light (but barely) when they finished. It looks great and we couldn't be happier!"

"My home repairs were the result of storm damage that was covered by an insurance claim.  Guardian did an excellent job negotiating <br /> these repairs with my insurance company.  Guardian uses subcontractors to perform the work, of which, they either spoke no, or very <br /> little English.  This made it difficult communicating issues with them without going through the Guardian Rep. which were not always available.  Of the area's I had repaired, roof, siding and rain gutters, the crew that did the rain gutters were the best.  They went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied with the replacement of my rain gutters, they were the best contactors Guardian provided.  I would recommend them to others or use their service again. <br /> Guardian did follow-up after the repairs to make sure I was satisfied; this is when I shared with them my displeasure.  There were several areas? of the roof and siding that were not completed properly for which the subcontractor had to be brought back to correct. I would not use Guardian again or refer them to others based on the fact that their roofers and siding installers did not have the customer's best interest at heart and were not able or willing to communicate well due to a language barrier.  I would prefer a contractor that had their own crew that did the work. <br />"
